I just installed these so I cannot attest to their longevity. They are very well made. The nail portion is sturdy. Not one bent while driving them into the chair legs. The nail portion comes with a piece of small tubing to protect you against being stuck with the point; remove this tubing before installing. I dinged one star for adhesion because they can be turned by hand but with some effort so that ding may not be fair. They will likely stay in place...we shall see. An adhesive sticker on the bottom plate would prevent this but I really do not think this will be an issue. As a bonus, they come in a fairly high-quality soft-type plastic box. If you are like me, an organized drawer freak, you can store the remainder in the box and when empty it will be great for screw, nails, hooks, and even batteries. I highly recommend this item.

I put these on the bottom of my Poly bar height Adirondack chairs to protect my new Timbertech composite deck from scratches. It is now very easy to slide the chairs on the deck and so far, no scratches. They were easy to install by hammering them into the HDPE plastic. Hope they hold up.

The nails on 2 sliders were bent and 1 nail loose

Have used felt in the past on laminate flooring with a thin IKEA rug in the dining room and had the usual drag on the rug as well as gross lint and hair stuck to the felt. Gave these a try in our new house and my parson chairs GLIDE across the wooden floor AND the same IKEA rug. They do not work on a high pile carpet (but we are working towards removing all the wtw carpet in the house anyway). We love these!!

these were the largest sliders that would fit my chairs. being nailers they are easy to install. just set with a few taps before you hammer them in.
