Interesting toy, spins like mad and for a long time as well. Well made, heavy and has a whole series of movements as it winds down to a full stop.. Love to watch it work

I was hesitant to purchase this given the low price point, but I've been really pleasantly surprised! It spins extremely well and has a nice heft to it. It's been a great desk toy to keep my hands occupied in Zoom meetings. I am able to spin it for about 3-4 minutes on my smooth desk.

I gave this item as a present to my 6 year old nephew. We tried it together. The spinning times we got initially were incredibly long, i.e. several minutes. It says here it can last for 8 minutes, and before buying I thought only experts could reach such time length, but I was wrong. Its design follows classical mechanics equations so precisely, it not only spins for long times, you will also see how the axis of rotation - initially tilted after making it rotate - self corrects until it becomes perfectly vertical. Then you look at it again and again and it looks as if it's not moving at all - so perfect is its shape!

It doesn't spin as long as the more expensive ($13) Cheetop top that I bought, but for some reason I like it almost as much. Maybe because it's a little thicker and has more weight than the other similar size tops. I have the 34g version in silver which is really just the stainless steel color (which I like)

Fun to use, and spins for a crazy long time, be it on cloth, wood, metal, or glass. Seriously, they are fun to play with, and solidly built.

So my husband ordered it. I am still confused why. It's a spinning top. For a spinning top it's great! Weirdly enough, everyone keeps spinning it. He sometimes sits at his laptop, doing work and I pass by and this spinning top is spinning... For a spinning top it's beautiful, though! It's sturdy and heavy and spins quite a long time. So I guess if you're looking for one... that's the one to get! :D

I like spinning this and watch it till it stops

My little one is obsessed with spinning tops and wanted one that could spin for a long time. This one was well worth the price. It's small but mighty. With someone who is a more seasoned spinner would easily have no problem getting this to spin for close to 5 minutes I'm sure. nothing I know nothing about spinning I was able to get it to spend for just about 2 minutes on the nose.

Amazing spinning top. My Dad (83) and I (47) spin it and watch it go. It is fascinating and an amazing piece of engineering. Our best so far is 8min 23 seconds spinning it on a dinner plate :) Share your records. When I heard it could spin 5 mins plus I thought that was likely an exaggeration. 8min 23 seconds.
