Gourmet Trends Original Always Fresh Containers 2 Pack, 20-Piece Set

I have purchased these in the past because I just hate not having fresh produce on hand. What I hate even more is throwing it out. So I kept buying these containers for my needs. I get the bags for the awkward larger items that don't fit in the tubs. I go to Costco and load up on Fruits and veggies. The fruits and veggies need to dry so don't wash before you load into containers. For the fruits they go from the store container to the fresh containers. Spinach s tricky, the stores pack it so you can't see that some of the spinach is already rotting. Get that out while it air drys. My spinach can last for two weeks in the frig in these containers. Again the trick is dry going in. I love that my blueberries don't have to be eaten the minute it comes in the house.

This is the 3rd time that I have ordered some of these. I use them a lot and they work really great. The only downside (if you want to call it that) is that I put together a lot of my meals in these to take to work, then heat them up in the microwave. Over a period of time the lids start to separate in that if I have any liquids in them they leak out if it is not sitting upright in my lunchbox. Other than that I love them and they really do what they say. I cook a lot and so I use them a lot to put unused veggies like onions, peppers, and stuff like that. I find they keep a whole lot longer in these types of containers.

I have been using these handy containers for a couple of years. Strawberries which always would rot and be inedible in a couple of days now last a week or longer. Raspberries too. All fresh produce (lettuce, celery, carrots, radishes, etc.) also have a much longer "shelf life". Now I give these containers as gifts to friends, and they love them, too. And they store compactly, with the containers and their lids nesting inside each other in a cabinet.

The announcement says original and they are not. I compared them with the original ones, the box is different and they are made in China, the original ones are made in India, the material is different, less quality. It's not fair to sell something as original when it's not.

The plastic boxes are very thin, and poor quality. Very different from the picture shown on Amazon. Extremely poor quality. I did not return because I did not want to pay shipping.

Totally useless, it does not do what it is supposed to do. Fruits and veggies go bad in a couple of day.I would not recommend it (ever).
