This is a gift for my sister. She loves it!

These books have very good photographs of the paintings and sharing the artists lives. The text is excellent as well. I keep them at the kitchen table and am reading them a little each day. Well worth the money. As a painter, they provide a great reference for ideas and colors. What amazing talent they both had.

It's always difficult to find a book with close to all of an artist's works, but this book has done it! this book not only has numerous images by the artist, but also very in depth details/passages on his personal life and his surroundings at the time. If you want a book that will stun you with its amount of pictures as well as its information, this book is the one. Fair warning though: The book is quite large. I'm not sure if that was a part of the description, but i was surprised when it arrived. It's roughly the size of an average school hardcover text book (hopefully that helps). so other than the surprise in size, this book is simply great for any monet fans out there.

The book is beautiful but had some damage, it looked like production issues, the bottom right side corners of the book are curved in, there are several pages in the book with 4-5 straight line impressions marking the pages and numerous pages with minor damage to the lover right corners. The damage is minor and not enough to where I would go to the effort of returning it. Otherwise the content, photo reproduction and everything else is amazing.

Lovely large book on Monet.

One of the best art books I've ever had. The story of Monet's life and his cultural and social milieu, is written very clearly and accompanied by lots of pictures of his and his contemporaries' work (but about 90% of the pictures are Monet's). Excellent quality paper. Highly recommended.
