Warm, Funny,sprinkle with sadness .
Great read loved the characters right from the start of the book. Great to read about women that later in life can enjoy themselves and appreciate what life can present them. Loved it!

HOPE
Reading about the adventures the Five hens had, even at their (my) age gives me hope that I too may find love again. 😊

Delightful
Judy Leigh has become one of my favorite authors. Her books are always very entertaining. This is a sweet kind of coming of age story about five older women. It is a quick, fun, easy to read story that any age group of women will enjoy.

Okay but not much more
Interesting perspective on love and relationships for older women, but the prose was mostly bland and repetitive. Was determined to finish it though the time spent could have been better employed.

Want a good laugh
Great read, it was funny and sad at times. Life for 5 older women, who make a trip to Paris together. What a trip! There is still life ahead for all. I laughed at the antics they got into and the outcomes after the trip. Well worth reading.

It's never too late ....
The main characters in this story are elderly ladies who meet at a club and become firm friends. When one of them decides to get married, the friends then go on a hen week to Paris. Here they find out more about each other and have fun seeing the many things Paris has to offer. Paris the city of love ...they are not the same people when they get home.

And of course, set in the ever engaging, Paris France.

Something fun for us over 70's !
This was a delightful ,easy read. I enjoyed each of the characters. What's not to like about 5 ladies ,of a certain age, deciding to go to Paris ( from England) for a week..and returning home close friends and respecting each other for being who they really are..I won't tell you the story , just read and enjoy as the tale unfolds.I've just finished reading "A Grand Old time" ..which I enjoyed even more! Loved the Irish /French characters. and I'll be reading more from this Author..
