Very good deal for the price. Everything that came with the kit, with the exemption of the stencils, are AMAZING. The tattoo gun is an absolute game changer. If you are use to using pens like I was (a wormhole), changing over to this with a foot pedal makes a world of a difference! The gun feels good in the hand, VERY lightweight, and has a wide variety of depth options on the gun. But again, if you are trying to upgrade, make your lines better and you are having some inconsistencys from your other tattoo gear, try this one out, you can't beat this deal for the quality of gear.

I am by no means a professional, however I know how to practice clean procedure and therefore are not too afraid to tattoo myself. Before this I had a couple coil machines and this device blows them out of the water, I started by riding the tube but now I float the needle which is easier with this as the coil machines feel like they're going to make me stab myself with all the vibrations. Quiet as all heck too! I am worried about the longevity of it, but if it lasts me 2 years then I'll feel I've gotten way more than my money's worth, I've done about 5 small to medium tattoos on myself with this and done countless practices on new skin and it still feels like new. I'm pretty sure they say it's maintenance free but I think I'm going to start putting just a teeeeny dab of vaseline in the exposed needle driver thingy (the thing exposed in the way back that looks like it pushes the needle) because I'm worried about heat during long sessions, too be fair I haven't done it yet and haven't had any problems yet either. The carts are super easy to swap out and feel like really good quality, also very relieved they're sterilized with EO gas. Color packing and lining are stupid easy with this, just swap out the cartridge and go! Only way this could be better is if I had two of them and it came with a battery instead of all the wires (that'll be my next investment) But otherwise, amazing device! You change the depth by twisting the tube and you get an audible click every time you adjust it. Sorry I'm add so this review is all over the place but again, great device!

This gun with direct and 3.5mm stroke is a huge differance than the pen design with a 2.5mm stroke. It has a harder hit and you know the ink is getting in.

It was love at the 1st use !!! I 1st used it for shading and loved it. My very next piece I used it for everything on the backside of a man’s hand on his pinky side there the skin is tough….ran the cartridge through it like buy!!
