Will the glycerin in this product damage the silicone?** A: No, it won't damage the silicon. This is safe for skin, so it's very non toxic. To break down the silicon in a mermaid's tail you would need something caustic or acidic. So this is totally safe. I have a mermaid tail as well. **Q: If i had water activated paint on and use this to make tears will it make the paint run?** A: Most likely. This is glycerin based but it also has water in it. You could always do a test run first and see what happens.
