Had to replace block and tackle on several old metal windows this worked, good fit and seems sturdy.

These fit my windows pretty well, though I did have to shave them a little to get the window all the way to the bottom of the track. I suspect that has more to do with the window installation than this product. Regardless, a few moments with a utility knife to cut these a few millimeters smaller and my windows have been working flawlessly for months. They were easy and even fun to install. I didn't get the special rivet tool, I just used my nail set to flare out the rivet initially and a small hammer to set rivet, very satisfying.

They're good not great. They work. Definitely fixed my window. Very affordable. They are plastic. Fitted my window. Installed fairly easily. Like I said, they worked. Not the best quality, but I also did not pay higher prices. It will get the job done and your wallet will not cry int the process.

Replacing some 15 year old balances that had the pulley jam and are not made anymore. The plastic guides are a cheaper material by feel and look. I doubt it is nylon as listed in the product description. Also much thinner and one piece snapped in the bag. I think these would break before the pulley.

Used to repair a failed window balancer. Repair involves removing hollow rivets and then replacing new guides and reriveting Kit allows for the repair of two balancers. Window now opens and closes easily.

Replacement value and keeping the windows in great shape.
