Adorable castle
Super cute little castle build. Love that there are two choices on what we want to make. My daughter went with the castle instead of the 12 smaller figures. The pieces helped in places and the instructions were clear. Made more for older children to follows since it was not simple like usual lego instructions but not difficult to understand at all. There's bricks are actually compatible with lego pieces. I had to help my daughter build it. She loves it and has already added people into the castle.

Great set for a great price!
My 5 and 7 year old kids are obsessed with legos. I purchased this set for them to try out. They snap into place, they are staying together while they play with them, and the castle and accessories are adorable. The only difference was the directions were slightly harder to follow than the usual sets, but my 5 & 7 year old were able to follow along to assemble. I would absolutely buy more sets from this company.

Ok, here are the details...
Bought this for my 4 (almost 5) year old little girl who LOVES to be a part of her big brother's Lego building creations. There are many things I like about this kit and several that make it difficult, for her age at least.General Info:First, the pieces come in many, many little bags. If you want to make the smaller creations, you do NOT want to open all the bags and start sorting the pieces together by shape and color, etc. The twelve bags have a small number printed on them with a letter at the end, and that correlates to the twelve different smaller creations you can make. The instruction book has the bag number in the bottom right corner of the page for each thing you can make. Working with one bag at a time as you make each thing is easiest. If you want to start with the big castle, you will need all the pieces, so you'll have to consolidate all the bags.Second, the instruction book actually gives you TWO different small creations you can make from each little bag. Two different kinds of carriages, two different kinds of bedrooms, etc. So really, this one little booklet gives you instructions on how to make 25 different castle-related builds. Pretty cool.Pros:Certainly, the variety is a plus. My daughter loves the colors. It is very pretty. It does fit with legos as well. It provides hours of fun building. And the price is phenomenal.Cons:The pieces are TIGHT fits with one another. Much tighter than legos. And they are 98% comprised of the TINIEST possible shapes. The tiny squares with one bump, or the tiny rectangles with two bumps...lots and lots of tiny pieces that are very difficult to press together. Because of this, my daughter's fingers just aren't strong enough most of the time, and to be honest, I struggle half the time, and my fingers hurt afterwards (and with 4 kids, I am an experienced Lego builder). Since she can't do it herself, she gets bored. Basically, I'm building it, trying to keep her involved and interested.Next, the instruction booklet takes a minute to get used to. Unlike Lego, this company crams the instructions for 4 COMPLETE builds onto 1 spread in the book. Picture attached. But, once you get the hang of it, it's detailed and makes sense. It just isn't anything my daughter could do unassisted at her age.No spare parts are provided. If you lose one tiny piece, you'll be missing one you needed for the build. Lego provides extra of the smallest pieces. This product does not. Finally, the tight fitting pieces (and their tiny size) makes it really difficult to get them apart once snapped together. Forget pulling them apart yourself. You will need a wedging tool of some kind...thin and strong. With that being said, basically, it has made me NOT want to build things multiple ways...because it's just rather difficult (and painful after a while) to get the pieces together, and HARD work to get them apart. So I am deterred from using the variety that is a bonus with this kit.I am glad we bought this, and maybe when she is older and stronger, our daughter may still be interested enough to want to do this independently. Cute product...can be challenging and tedious.

good the
for fun amd relaxation, always impressed by the build techniques and solid structure. Colors are vibrant and great era specific details make this I "really" enjoyed putting it together Christmas day). The colors are great and it is compatible with Lego brand legos, so it works great as she uses create the castle and other things i believe she will learn the process of building

Creative building set with lots of options
Really nice and affordable Lego replacement. The kids always love to build things, but we didn’t want to go out and buy a bunch of new sets. This one is nice because you can create a lot of different things and it’s okay if we lose a few pieces. The pieces are really small and easy to lose, so it’s probably not something you want out for the babies.

Not very happy
Cheap for a reason. My money will be going too Legos from now on. I bought two of these as Christmas gifts for my daughters and at first they loved them. Making all the individual pieces was ok but it became apparent that the cheap design and type blocks used were of poor quality when we tried to assemble the larger castle. The castle is what is mainly featured for this product and it should be pretty easy to assemble it...just saying. The blocks themselves are ok quality with some pieces not actually locking with others. Every time we have attempted to assemble castle, it falls apart because the connection points are too weak and begin to fall apart. How are kids possibly supposed to play with these once assembled? Great price but not so great because I am now spending more to get my daughters two different sets.
