One micron being close to 25/1000 of an inch, 25 microns would be .001", or one 1/1000th of an inch. 'Regular' aluminum foil is commonly in the .6 mil (just over one half of one thousandth) range. 'Heavy Duty' is usually going to approach one mil/.001", or 1/1000th of an inch. There being no such thing as a 'standard' for measuring 'regular' or 'heavy duty' aluminum foil...no standard to any descriptive term OF aluminum foil whatsoever, one persons 'heavy duty' may well be another persons flimsy tissue thin. 25 microns will ALWAYS be 25 microns.

What is the diameter of a full roll? Thank you very much in advance.

It's hard. to say what the diameter was when new. Have been using it for months and probably 75% left. It is commercial grade and very durable. It is the same quality as the product I purchased for use at Ivy Tech Culinary. I certainly recommend it for heavy duty use.

How does it compare to Reynolds?

I just used the foil. It is definitely heavy duty. I think it is actually better than the Reynolds foil. The only bad thing is the white plastic roll spools at the end that break during shipping. I had saved the spools from my old box so it worked out.
