Simplicity is always a good way to go when getting back to sewing. They are very clear when it comes to instructions. The skirt will definitely be your easiest pattern. Can this be enlarged to a bust size 56 inches?

The patterns says it goes up to a bust size 54 1/2. but I don't think it would be too hard to cut the pattern slightly larger to fit a 56
