This is my new favorite knife. I have over a dozen expensive knives, and as many cheap ones in my kitchen. Now, this is the knife that I am using for nearly everything, every meal. I like the balance, the feel of the handle, the size and the shape and thickness of the blade. It was super sharp out of the box and the sharpness has held up much better than I would expect for a knife at this price point, or any price. I don't know a lot about the steel used, but I'm guessing it's not as fancy as the expensive Japanese or German models, but for me, it performs just as well, or better. If I need to touch up the hone, a couple light passes on a steel or stone and it's as good as new, very easy to sharpen. I liked it so much I gave two away for Christmas to family members, and these have become new favorites for them too. I would buy this again, and I can recommend it without reservation.

This knife has great balance and stays sharp with regular use. I'm not a professional chef, just a casual home cook, but it's made prepping so much easier — clean, precise cuts every time. The ergonomic handle feels comfortable to hold, even during longer prep sessions. You don't need to be a pro to appreciate a knife this well made. Highly recommend for anyone who cooks at home.

So, I’m just starting to get into cooking and I really don’t know anything about knives. I didn’t know what the hell a Santoku knife was, I just wanted something that could cut through onions and vegetables really easily. THIS KNIFE IS CRAZY. I could not believe how sharp it was. Cutting through thick red onion was so easy, I just had to lightly push down and it went right through. The balance felt fine, i think it may take a few uses to get used too. I will admit the first time I used it the onion was a little wonky. And I did accidentally cut myself because I didn’t realize just how sharp it was, but it didn’t even hurt and barely left a cut. I can’t speak to the rust resistance yet, and I will note that this knife does NOT come with any protective sheathing. I’m really impressed with the quality and the price is really great compared to how expensive they can get. Would definitely recommend for first time users/beginners especially!! 🔪💯

Wow! I love to cook, and this knife is making it SO much better. It is perfect. Very sharp, it slices thru soft tomatoes like butter. Perfect. I've never had such a nice knife. Would be a great gift also. Recommend.

Nice weight super sharp, a nice Handle made of a really nice metal material. Only wish it came with a sleeve. That’s how sharp this knife is. It is excellent for chopping vegetables into small pieces which handles perfectly.

I used this knife for a while before posting these comments. My whole family reach for this knife when they cook. We don't use the other knives we have anymore because this one has stayed sharper with use, and its smooth design is easy to clean. Food residues don't get stuck in crevices. It is light-weight and there are no uncomfortable corners where it is held. The grip is comfortable and is not slippery. I was worried it would be too thin but it is strong and has not been any problem at all for our purposes. We haven't used it to cut though hard squash, but it works very well for cutting tomatoes, celery, carrots, peppers, potatoes, etc.... The price was so affordable! The design is perfect and it looks super nice! Wow!
