I have to admit that I had my doubts as to whether these would work or not because they list various models that they work for. I decided to give them a try and I'm glad that I did. I needed one right away as I discovered mine was full and my vacuum was leaving more on the floor then it was picking up. The problem I have with the ones from a retail store is that you can't tell when they are full unless they are leaving evidence of my floor or I push them to check. Pushing on them creates a poof of dust that escapes the thin paper bag. Nasty! These are thicker and they have a window down the front of the bag so I will be able to pop the front off to check. Another problem with the store bags is when I remove them all the overflowing nastiness spills out and gets on my hands, the rest of the vacuum and on the floor, yuk. Another gross thing is carrying them out to the trash at arms length by my fingertips, because I'm not putting that in the kitchen trash, so that nothing else escapes from it. These have a sticker above the opening that you peel and stick over the opening to keep all the nastiness inside and they are much thicker. They seem like they are a bit bigger too which makes them even more cost effective. I was paying around five dollars for three bags and I paid just under nine dollars for 9 bags which makes them an exceptional value. I usually pick up anything that I can see on the floor but I have a dog so the bag is usually filled with dust, things I can't see and of so much hair. At first I thought they were the wrong size because the opening looked much smaller but they have a rubber gasket that fits tight over the opening which is better to keep even more particles from escaping. I would always vacuum before dusting because I knew that dust was escaping. I found it really hard to get the bag on and wrestled with it until I figured out how to do it. After I had tried everything else I found that if you place your hands under the bag you can use your fingertips to press on the cardboard and it goes right on. I live in a tiny apartment so I usually vacuum once or twice per week so they will last me awhile but when I put my last bag on I will be ordering more of them. Thanks amazon.

Captures much more dust than Bissell bags!

You're looking to save that extra few cents per bag - STOP. These are a fantastic price without compromising stability, filtering ability, or fit. Cardboard on top of sturdy, the added sticker for sealing them is a great bonus, they don't leak or tear easily, and they fit really well. Go with these and seriously trust that they won't leak dust everywhere in the vacuum or when removing.

I needed to get new vacuum bags for my Bissell Vaccuum. I didn't have time to go to the store, plus this was right when the virus was becoming more prevelant. The delivery was quick, and these were what I needed for my vacuum. they fit perfectly, though they are super awkward and hard to get setup, but that's simply how they are designed in part with the vacuum so not on the company. I also didn't realize just how many there would be when I ordered these, so I'd say from this I'm good on vacuum bags for the next year to year and a half, of course depending on how big your place is and how often you vacuum (for reference, I have a 1 bedroom apartment and vacuum every week or every other week).

My wife tells me these bags fit better and provide better suction than the generic bags found at the local grocery/big box stores she has used in the past. I came across these bags as I was doing a search for a new beater brush belt for the vacuum and these were less expensive than the bags she had been using. I'm always looking to save a buck, so we decided to try them and she is pleased. Me, I'm not real sure where the vacuum cleaner is stored and I usually find an excuse to go outside when I hear it turn on, so what do I know? (If it sounded more like a V-twin I might be more inclined to use it....) If she says they are good bags I'm taking her word for it.
