GENIUS2X2 6/12V 2-Bank Battery Charger, Trickle Charger & Maintainer

The NOCO GENIUS2X2 has been an excellent addition to my garage. Being able to charge and maintain two batteries at the same time is a huge convenience, especially if you have multiple vehicles or seasonal equipment. Each bank operates independently, so you can connect different batteries without worrying about interference. Setup was straightforward, and the included cables and clamps feel high quality. The smart charging features are where this unit really stands out. The temperature compensation works exactly as advertised, adjusting automatically based on ambient conditions, which gives confidence when leaving it connected long-term. I’ve used it in both cold and warmer conditions with consistent results. One of the most impressive features is its ability to recover deeply discharged batteries. I successfully brought back a battery that I assumed was beyond saving, and the desulfation function seems to have genuinely improved performance afterward. These things are money savers by protecting the battery life of all my equipment. I have these on my zero turn mowers over the winter, bobcat skid steer and my polaris side by side utv. I got tired of replacing batteries and finding equipment deadlined due to weak batteries after winter, so I bought the Noco's and have had no issues since.

Fantastic product. This works especially well if you have a dual battery setup and you no longer have to remove the terminals to individually charge each battery insuring they get the proper charge. Easy to read battery status. I have not noticed any heat coming off of the unit or noise even with both charging operations in use. Also works to dissimilar batteries in a vehicle i.e. Lead acid-Lithium as you select the type of battery you have to be charged. The extensions are enough to keep two vehicles parked side by side in a garage/outside charged and topped off. Not only works well to recondition and charge a dead battery but is a maintainer you can leave on the battery 24/7 This is one of the best chargers I have ever purchased and it gets a lot of use with all of my vehicles especially in cold harsh environments. I have a NOCO single charger that I really like but this is now the one that gets the most use. Well worth the purchase.

Excellent option for my Electric Boat. It’s sturdy, reasonably priced and was easy to install. I’m happy about its performance thus far.

Does what it is supposed to do

Why 4 stars? Quality control, or rather lack of it. I’ve had this for a while, just sitting there in its box. I finally got it out and hooked it up to a couple of vehicles. One vehicle wouldn’t charge. I was a little confused. Took me a minute to find the problem: multiple cuts through the extension wire. I thought that was weird, fixed it, and moved on with life. A month or so goes by when I decide to move things around. I once again have one vehicle that won’t charge. Turns out both extensions had multiple cuts through them. If they were sitting just right, there was enough contact for it to work. I have a X4 as well, no issues there. Just this X2. Really, just the extension wires with it. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Further update... 2 weeks later, a third charger has now failed. I contacted NOCO and all they would do is offer me a 10% discount code on a future order (only one item must be in the cart for the discount code to work). Not at all pleased with the customer service and the fact that these units seem built to last until the warranty runs out. My initial praise of these has fallen to utter disappointment. The company should stand behind their products better than this. Update... I gave these chargers rave reviews as seen below, but now not so sure. Although I still like these trickle chargers, 2 of the 5 I have purchased have gone bad within approximately 3 years of purchase. A third one had only one bank working on it when received and the seller would not exchange it or give a refund. After contacting NOCO, they offered me a coupon worth 10% off my next purchase. Kind of disheartened with the life of the chargers and the customer service. Maybe should be looking for another more dependable brand. I bought 3 these on sale, but honestly after getting and using them, they are worth the price even if not on sale. I have several 4 wheelers and bought new batteries for 3 of them. One of them sat unridden for almost a year and the battery was completely dead. These units brought it back to life just like brand new. That saved me $100 on another battery purchase, which more than paid for one charger. It also keeps another 7 year old battery fully charged. These things work!

Das Gerät kam super verpackt an. Das kennt man heute kaum noch, mit Schaumstoff geschützt und nicht einfach in einer Folie rein gelegt. Die Funktion scheint zu funktionieren, da ich mehrere Autobatterien der Sommerfahrzeuge laden möchte, eine hat leer angezeigt (das Fahrzeug stand seit geraumer Zeit ohne die Batterie am Ladegerät zu haben) und die andere wurde direkt als Voll angezeigt. Ich lasse das Gerät laufen und teste weiter, bisher aber eine klare Kaufempfehlung! Zum Zubehör ist zu erwähnen, dass allerlei Netzkabel beiliegen für verschiedene Länder, die beiden 3 Meter Verlängerungen sind auch sinnvoll, wenn man Batterien laden möchte ohne diese auszubauen. Was ich mir noch wünschen würde, wäre ein kurzes Anschlusskabel mit Ösen, um dies fest im Fahrzeug zu verbauen
