Well, this review is coming from a qualified audio engineer. I bought this and got what I was expecting from a cheap set of earphones with lot of hype around the quality that it offers. So anyone who is not a purist or an audiofile, can definitely go for it. Best would be to keep your EQ flat and suspend all other sound enhancements on your device. Dolby Atmos modes work quite well though for movies.Ok, now the sour truth abiut quality if you care. Come on guys, this earphone says it is high res certified. But I could tell right away, the quality which I was expecting (being greedy and stingy) from a high res audio capable earphones, was way so much more than what this had to offer. Again, I am happy that whatever I could get is not to regret because the price I paid is way too much less to get that quality in return. The high frequency in briliance part of the spectrum is just a little disappointing. Low mids are a tad too tinny sounding. Extreme lows are impressive though and anything below 50Hz does make the diaphragms make some noise, which sounds like distortion in music. I think prolonged listening to low bass at high volumes will shorten the life of the earohones because of overheating of thise tiny voice coils. So try and avoid extremely bass boosted tracks at high volumes.Vocals are not full, and sounds a little hollow, cross talks with low mids and high mids.Dynamic range handling is good.Cable with silicon finish when hitting your body while you wear this and walk does transfer vibrations to your ears. But if you are not moving, the sound is just fine. Passive noise cancellation is decent enough.All in all, the price is justified for the quality. I would surely recommend this product for day to day average music listening and casual video watching on smartphones. This will not disappoint you. But if you are an audio professional, well I need not say it but we all know, quality never comes cheap!For HD phone calls, this mic and earphone is just great!Good luck!

Build: Can be betterRedmi Earphones comes with normal cable which is filmsy and not that great. It lacks cable management strap and there is no braided cable. The eartips fits perfectly in your ears but it slight becomes uncomfortable if you use them for more than 2h. It has single button that can be used for pause/play song and launch google assistant. The button has good clickable feedback.Sound Quality: DecentThe earphones has hi - res audii support. The audio is clean and there is no distortion at max 100% volume. The audio is clean and crisp but its flat. You dont get heavy bass like realme buds. The midtones are rich but I wish the headphones had better bass. The HD microphone is good for audio calls but there is no background noise cancellation.Verdict: Not the best optionIts a good headphone for the price but if we compare the sound quality to realme buds gen 1, i would go for realme buds.

iam writing this review after 7 months of using this earphones. as a sound device this earphone delivers what it says. But there are some fatal technical problem with this earphone, it destroyed my mi phone and my desktop's smps. my phone's touch started having problem when i started using this earphone with my phone, but i initially couldn't relate the phone's problem with this earphone, i thaught my phone's getting old and is going bad. but for some reason i started using phillips earphone with my phone, and miraculously my phone started functioning normally after a week or so after switching, and i kept using phillips earphone which worked as good as mi earphone and had no problem with my phone. but again after a month or so i plugged this earphone into my phone and the same day my phone started having touch problems, and again when i switched to phillips earphones my phone started functioning normally ( it takes a week or two to get normal). it happened lots of time with me and only after 4th time i realized that it's the problem of the earphone and not my phone. and since i couldn't figure it out initially and these earphones were working normally i started using them on my desktop, where it functioned properly but after few days my smps started having problems, which i had to replace twice.i lost my lots of money due to this mi earphone. it would have been better if this earphones would have stopped working on the 1st day itself so that my phone and desktop would have been spared, but this earphone kept working and destroyed everything.also it has a weired very low click click sound even when you are not listening anything.
