In short - as the title says, well-made and works out of the box to allow a VGA device to connect to a normal-size Display Port socket. Allows you to either add a second monitor or projector.In detail:I needed to add a 2nd monitor to a laptop-and-docking station combo temporarily, and noticed I had an old but fully functional VGA monitor in storage.The docking station only had a DisplayPort socket spare, so I wondered if this adapter would do the trick.All I can say is that it worked out of the box - having run a VGA cable from the 2nd monitor to the VGA socket on the adapter, and then plugged the latter into the DisplayPort socket, I now have a fully functioning additional monitor. There's no flicker or anything else weird going on either, as often happens with monitor adapters.Incidentally, my monitors are seriously different in resolution and aspect ratio - 19" 1280x1024 vs1440 x 900 - but the two are working happily side by side.The biggest advantage is that now I can extend an Excel spreadsheet across the two screens, or use the second screen for just internet research whilst using Msft Office on the first.Regarding the quality of manufacture, the adapter seems very sturdy and well finished. One cute touch - the packaging serves as a tiny ZipLoc bag after opening so when storing the adapter it will be clearly identifiable and not mixed up with other kit. Nice idea - wish more manufacturers would think of doing this.NB - I tend to research items throughly before ordering, so most of my reviews are 4-5 star (as I am therefore seldom disappointed). If I do find an item which is of poor quality, I will give it a suitably low star rating. So, any high ratings I give you can trust.

The TSUPY display port to VGA adapter is a very handy device and I use this to connect an old monitor to my graphics card that doesn’t have a DisplayPort. It only has a resolution of 1080p but still looks surprisingly good. This is only a device I use from time to time depending on what project I am doing. The device itself is well made and it is a plug and play so there is not much messing around. This does exactly what I had hoped so I am very pleased with it.

I needed to install a new PC at a customers office, the PC had HDMI and DP, the monitor had VGA and DVI.This adapter had arrived early in the morning and I threw it in my bag until I had time to test it on my home PC. I'd already ordered a VGA to HDMI cable to skip the need for adapters - the install went great, but the display kept flickering on and off.Enter this adapter! Plugged their original VGA cable into this adapter, then to the PC and no display issues!I've since ordered another of these through the work account to have at home.

No screen flickering, just how they said.Issue is it only worked 2 days….my 2nd screen is dark without any image

Plugged the DP end into my computer, older one on Windows 10. I connected the VGA lead into a VGA screen and this picked up the screen display as extended from the PC and worked well. There was no noticeable lag time when using a screen mouse over the screen and clicking icons and apps and this worked fine. Nice quality unit and worked fine as expected.

I'm using this on an old Dell optiplex 790 (2012) PC, and didn't expect it to have such a good functionality.Perfect. Thanks TSUPY, good job 👍

Easy to connect to iPad Air 4 (have to slip off case to fit). Connects and works great. Picture and sound seamlessly connect tv to iPad. Recommended.

Does the job at a proper price.

It works just like i expected it to it stays in the ports and you can connect an hdmi cable to it which is exactly what I needed

Fait le job : conforme et pas cher.Semble solide.Un bémol : pour débrancher le DP il faut appuyer sur une sorte de cliquet et ce n'est pas facile....
