Solid supplement quality overall! After taking these daily during long hours in front of computer monitors, I've noticed a significant reduction in eye fatigue and dryness by the end of the workday. The plantgel softgels are easy to swallow with no unpleasant aftertaste or upset stomach, thanks to the organic coconut oil base. The only minor drawback is that the softgels can occasionally stick together inside the bottle if stored in a warm room, so you need to give the bottle a light shake before opening. Still a high-quality product I'll continue buying!

We have been purchasing Lutein/Zeaxanthin from Sports Research for over a year. ALREDS2 has twice the tolerable upper limit of zinc, so we began purchasing the individual items individually. Research has indicated that double the amount of these two nutrients (4 and 20 instead of 2 and 10) has more benefits, especially combined with Zeaxanthin, so that’s what I decided to try. After a number of months on this protocol, the vision in my left eye has improved from 20/45 to 20/30 and has remained stable’s for the past nine months. Macular degeneration is never supposed to improve, but I am no longer eligible for a light therapy to slow the decline. I can’t recommend this item highly enough. Do the research. Give it a try.
