Worth what you pay for.
The tips are a bit softer then what I would have liked them to be. But, they still punch a nice solid design. Haven't use them to much since this remark, so I can't give a full detail on how long they will last.Worth what I paid for them though and seller is good.

not tool steel
Service was excellent and they arrived when they were reported to.Initial impression was that they were well made and had a black oxide on them. They appear to be textured appropriately for chasing and repoussé and I will use them as such. However they are not made of tool steel and are not for carving. I remade one for a v chisel and attempted to harden it. The tip curled back the first time I tried it on an annealed brass plate.If you want these for metal carving forget it. If you want them for chasing and metal stamping they will do fine.
