Fantastic!
I bought this like a year and a half ago for a SFF build and never ended up using it but thought it might come in handy some day so I kept it. I rebuilt my system into a larger case using the same Gigabyte B660I mini-ITX board, which only has one ARGB port, and I quickly realized that if I wanted multiple ARGB channels I was either going to have to go with something expensive and proprietary like Corsair, or try this hub. It works great! This device has three functions: it can work independently without a connection to the computer using built-in presets, it can act has an ARGB hub for one channel, or you can connect it via internal or external USB and use it as a smart controller with four separate ARGB channels (five including RGB out), leaving your board's ARGB port free to use for something else! I did USB and I'm using it for four groups of fans. You can see in my photo and video that there are ten case fans in four groups (one is behind the CPU cooler); these are each daisy-chained and connected to a separate port on the controller while the case's built-in lightstrip is connected to the motherboard's ARGB port. I'm using SignalRGB, which immediately recognized and controller and works perfectly, allowing me to "paint" the fan groups the colors I want while leaving the light strip on my chosen effect. This controller has one major limitation and that is that each channel can only control up to 48 LEDs, which is more than enough for fans but for longer strips like the the one built into my case (77!) it won't be sufficient, which is why I left that connected directly to the board. I do wish the industry would come up with a way to make ARGB cables connect more securely, but that aside this controller is a fantastic way to add ARGB flexibility to an existing system.

Instructions on how to get this product working with OpenRGB
It works well, but documentation on how to get it working really is unclear, and the official software really is buggy. So I'm sharing my steps I got through troubleshooting here to get it working with OpenRGB: 1. Download CoolerMaster "Master Plus" software and install it (don't run it yet) 2. Plug in the RGB controller to USB 3. On first open, run Master Plus as administrator 4. At this point a firmware update should be displayed as available for the RGB controller. Follow the instructions on screen to install it. For me the software claimed that updating the firmware failed, but it did in fact succeed 5. The controller should now work 100% with OpenRGB. Prior to this firmware update when I tried to use it with OpenRGB, it seemed incompatible and really broken, with it only illuminating at most half of my LED strips. After the firmware update, it worked fully Cheers guys, and merry christmas

Works fine
I bought two of these to control the lighting in my PC, and they work just fine. Not great, not bad, but fine. Be aware that these work only as a simple splitter if you use the passthrough from a motherboard ARGB header. All of the devices will be sent the same signal. If you want to control your devices independently you must use USB and either Cooler Master's software or something like OpenRGB.

Works great. Software is good enough.
Awesome. It saved me from having to buy a new motherboard with ARGB. Works great. The software is a bit limited and the interface is a bit confusing, but it works great. I have the usb port and the 4 pin connection plugged into my motherboard.

Replacement argb controller for asus tuf gaming gt301
Bought an asus tuf gaming gt301 case that had a simple argb controller. I messed up the wiring and it burnt out, had the worst time finding something to replace it. This argb controller hooked up to the case button like the old one did, works flawlessly. Fits at the back of the case with no issues. Too bad these are hard to find.

Doesn't work anymore if ever did
I purchased this and Cooler Masters own software doesn't detect it. Which I thought would be fine since it has buttons to change colors but you cant customize what colors you get. Unreal! Apparently all there hubs and software are kind of buggy. I'd stay away from this company.

Not the best, but maybe it's me
I'm fairly new to rgb builds so you should take my review with a grain of salt. I may have been doing something wrong, and the support on my motherboard may not have been right for this to work correctly. That said I think this product kinda sucks and I wouldn't go with this on another build. The cooler master plus software is crap. It's super difficult to use, it's buggy, and there's practically no documentation anywhere. The documentation they provide on the controller that comes with the product is minimal. It's something - thank you, but wasn't enough to really help me understand how to make use of all the options on there. I spent a while trying to find content on youtube that would be helpful, but mostly I just struck out. I ended up wiring my argb stuff directly into the case and using the case buttons to control it. And actually that was a pretty good outcome for me. Some buttons on the case work a helluva lot better than the cooler master software or dragon center. I spent a bunch of time (and money) on this and wish it had turned out better. At the end of the day this controller and the crappy rgb support on my mother board were the biggest regrets in my build.
