Easy and good recipes.
I am very excited about this cookbook. I have a hard time getting enough protein in my diet. I am not a big meat eater and am lactose intolerant. I do not like drinking shakes. They do not seem like a meal to me. I can't wait to try many of these recipes. They are easy to follow and most of the ingredients are already in my kitchen. All I need is the protein powder. I can't wait to try the peanut bread pudding recipe. I will be substituting rice or almond milk instead of cows milk. I really like the fact that each recipe has the amount of calories, grams of fat, carbs and fiber and the amount of protein for each recipe. There are also many recipes for breakfast foods. This is the hardest meal of the day for me because I am not very hungry in the morning and like to skip it.

I love this cook book
I love this cook book! I've been working hard to incorporate more protein in my diet because like most people, I don't get nearly enough. This book is freaking awesome! I had no idea there were so many different options for protein supplements but luckily this book does a great job of laying out the different options for protein. As someone new to this it would helps having all the basic info - what tools I need [ I had to go out and by a muffin pan - didn't have one of those ] . I love the precise ingredients and nutrition value added for all the recipes. Knowing how much they make and what the benefits of each are is fantatsic. BTW You might think a PB and J smoothie sounds disgusting but trust us, you want to give it a whirl. It is absolutely amazing. It even has some good fiber and protein value :) Win-win

Have your cake and protein too
I was super excited to pick up this book because I'm always looking for something different to do with my protein. I never like my protein with water and I get bored with milk. And smoothies can just be a pain in the butt sometimes. The cover art initially drew me in. The pancakes looked so fluffy and the idea of making cookies with my cream flavored protein powder blew my mind! I never really considered recipes with protein powder before this book. However, after seeing Author Courtney Neilsen's recipes for breakfast bowls, waffles, french toast, doughnuts, breads and muffins, rolls, spreads, soups, and even ice cream sandwiches, I thought different! What I like most about Nielsen's recipes is that they aren't ordinary. She has a recipe for an Arnold Palmer doughnut, a cinnamon brule bread pudding and cashew cream frosting. There is nothing boring this book. The recipes are so fun, the reader is going to get every bit of protein they need. The recipes are actually good for everyone, it's just a nice bonus to be able to get your protein in too.

Worth the money at cheap e-book price but not at print price.
It's a decent book for some of the recipes but many of the other recipes are just variations on a theme, for eg. the basic bun recipe is roughly the basis of 5 (iirc) other types of buns with just an added ingredient here and there. It is also very sweet tooth oriented and lacking in savory recipes.I'm glad I got it for the cauliflower mashed "potato" recipe alone but that's about it.

Protein Baking with options
I just finished making my version of the Fluffy Dinner Rolls. I love the idea of cooking with more protein to support my family's nutritional needs. I checked this book out at the library and decided there were enough tryable recipes to buy. The ingredients are items I have or have no problem getting from the local grocery. Since there are so many possibilities with these recipes, it is a 5 star cookbook. The recipes are protein interchangeable. You can use whey over a vegan protein like pea. The author just specifies plain or flavored for specific recipes. I already have one of my trainers excited at the prospect of protein bakery for a gift this holiday.

This book was a great find!
We have a protein powder smoothie every morning for breakfast. I got this book to add a little variety to my breakfast. I was surprised to find all the different recipes from breakfast bowls, pancakes to candy, all made from protein powder. The introduction was clear and concise; it gave you the basics on the different protein powders and a brief description of ingredients you need and how to use them in the recipes in this book. The recipes are easy to read and follow and have the nutrition guide for each of them. The recipes are packed with protein. This book was a great find!

This book has so many really wonderful recipes! The book begins with an informational introduction before jumping right into the recipes. The recipes are fun and easy. I’ve never considered a lot of these recipes, even without the protein powder aspect! The recipe has tons of breakfast recipes, which is really great- that’s when I want my protein powder anyway! I’m a big fan of the chocolate chip cake waffles. Doesn’t that just sound wonderful? I also like the the s’mores doughnuts, mmm! The book also has savory recipes and desserts! I like the bacon and shallot rolls, as well as the chocolate strawberry cheesecake brownies. I really enjoyed this book and I’m looking forward to making more of these recipes!

It seems like the author of the book never tried any of the recipes. Tasteless and dry.
