How do you charge this battery for use on a Canon SELPHY CP910 ? Charges inside of the printer or is an external charger required?

I have the Canon Selphy CP800 printer. I charge the battery inside the printer

how long does the printer last on one charge of a battery, with, say, printing 12 photos an hour?

The battery lasts for about 50 pictures. If you are printing 12 photos an hour, about 4 hours. I am sure there is some discharge over time, but not anything significant over a few hours. I didn't charge the batteries right before using them. They had sat for a couple of days before we put them into use. Also, our conditions were a bit extreme - tropical summer conditions. We were in the Dominican Republic in June.

Does anyone know if this battery is also compatible with the Canon SELPHY CP910 Black Portable Wireless Compact Photo Color Printer?

It is compatible. You will need the canon charger adapter (or generic equivalent) as the battery does not connect directly to the 910. I just used my 910 with battery and charger adapter and it worked flawlessly.

Does this work with cp1200? The battery model changed from the older versions. Now has an "h" on the end and is $80 :-(

Hi Albi, The difference between the NB-CP2L and the NB-CP2LH is, the NB-CP2LH has more mAh. The NB-CP2LH will allow you to print more pictures. The Wasabi Power NB-CP2L will work with the cp1200. Kind regards, Blue Nook
