KYY Portable Monitor 15.6'' FHD 1080P USB C HDMI Gaming Monitor

♡ Hello, I have been thinking about purchasing a monitor for some time, and just a few days ago, I came across this KYY 15.6" laptop monitor. After doing some research, I knew very quickly that this was the right choice for me. As you can see in my attached image, it is absolutely wonderful and has exceeded my expectations! I have a 14-inch MacBook Pro (M5), and installing the software for this monitor was a simple, seamless process. It can also connect to power, which is a wonderful feature that will allow me to use it for long periods of time. This monitor works so well for my unique purposes, which are primarily schoolwork for my Master's program, browsing the internet, and streaming Spotify. It feels durable and well-made, and so far, I enjoy having it standing up (as you can see in my attached image) as opposed to using the stand; though if I wanted to, I know I would be able to adjust the angle as needed. That being said, it feels incredibly stable! Additionally, this monitor is incredibly portable, which was a major deciding factor in my purchase. It folds up and fits into a laptop sleeve. Once I have it in there, I can put it in a computer bag for easy transport. All in all, this KYY monitor is working so well for me, so much so that it makes me look forward to my work as I have all of this screen space available to me! I’ve used many multi-monitor setups over the years, and this KYY 15.6" laptop screen extender is the first laptop-specific dual display setup I’ve used that truly feels practical, polished, and easy to live with. It is a phenomenal product. I mainly use it for work, especially email and AI-related tasks, where having extra screen space makes a huge difference. Instead of constantly switching between windows, I can keep my email, browser, documents, and AI tools open at the same time. It immediately made my workflow feel faster and more organized. What impressed me most was how easy the driver and hardware setup were. The physical setup is clean, the design is clearly made with laptops in mind, and it avoids the clutter that comes with many traditional multi-monitor setups. Fewer cables, less hassle, and a much cleaner workstation whether I’m at a desk or working somewhere else. The build quality also exceeded my expectations, especially for the cost. It feels sturdy and well-designed, and the portability is a major advantage. Compared with other multi-monitor arrangements I’ve used, this is far easier to set up, move around, and actually use day to day. For anyone who works heavily from a laptop and wants a more productive setup without carrying around a complicated mess of monitors, stands, and cables, this is an outstanding solution. I have a laptop as my primary computer and wanted to get additional screens to be able to work more efficiently. But I needed some screens with a relatively small footprint – all standalone screens take up a lot of room on the desk. I found this item and decided to give it a try. I have to say while I was a little skeptical when I ordered it, I have been very impressed once I received the item!!! It is definitely worth the investment! It arrived very professionally packaged – like any device or equipment that I might buy from a well known brand – and the triple screen device itself looks really solid, sturdy – and its made of some kind of metal – not flimsy at all. The hinges on both sides are nice and tight – and quite strong – doesn’t feel like they will break anytime soon. The device is nice and compact when folded, and it fits beautifully around my laptop screen giving me two additional screens to work with on the left and right side of my main laptop screen, still leaving plenty to room on my desk. I also like that I can easily move the screens back and forth to a comfortable reading distance. Set up was a breeze – it comes with a USB-C/USB-A combo drive that contains the driver – I just plugged the USB drive in and clicked on the Windows driver file – and both screens lit up and connected with my laptop immediately. I was up and running in literally 15 seconds. While it can use your laptop’s power to operate, it also comes with it’s own separate power supply and cable as well, which is a nice addition since then you don’t drain your laptop too quickly. I have been using this triple screen monitor now for the past 5 days – it’s been great to have the additional screens and they have worked flawlessly. The only down-side I notice is that it’s not as light as I would have liked it to be (but then I guess I would have had to sacrifice on the quality). It does come with a built-in carry handle though which makes it nice and portable. All in all, I would say it’s worth the buy.

Review for Lenovo Ideapad 5 16" (Costco special). Bought the double screen 15.6". Ordered this by mistake and returned it. I wanted one that could rotate to portrait mode for spreadsheets. I tested it out real quick as it was better priced than the other one. It hooked up really easy screens popped on right away. Wasn't heavy, hinges felt well made. Would have kept if it had the possibility to convert to portrait mode for a monitor. Wires for monitors are integrated into the hinges so only one cable to connect to the computer and another for power. Only improvement other than portrait mode is that it would be nice if the monitors could tilt adjust a little 10 or so degrees either way. The kickstand on the back causes it to tilt back a little so on a standing desk instead of being able to have it higher elevated angled downward (like this for my neck and back so I am not hunched over), I have to look down. I'm sure I could rig something but would be more than happy to pay extra for this feature. All in all good product and would have kept.

Bought the KYY X90D triple screen extender back in November 2025 and intentionally held off reviewing it until I'd put it through its paces. Six months of daily use later? This thing is still flawless. The single USB-C cable setup is genuinely as clean as advertised — no power bricks, no cable mess, just plug in and you're running three screens anywhere you go. Display quality is sharp and color-accurate, and the 360° rotation has actually come in handy more than I expected. My biggest worry with portable tech is always long-term durability. Happy to report the build quality has held up without any complaints. The hinges are solid, the kickstand doesn't wobble, and the aluminum frame still looks brand new. Worth noting: you do need to install the driver (it's on the included USB drive), so don't skip that step. Takes two minutes and you're good. For $230 you're getting a legitimate three-screen mobile workstation. If you work remotely, travel frequently, or just want your desk setup wherever you go — this is it.

I purchased this KYY monitor setup around February and, up until now, I’ve genuinely loved it. I use it heavily for day trading and it has been a fantastic setup for giving me the extra screen space I need. Unfortunately, it is now August and one of the screens has already failed. The lower portion of the display suddenly became covered in vertical colored lines and is basically unusable. There was no drop, impact, or physical damage it simply failed during normal use. That’s obviously extremely disappointing for a product that is only about six months old, especially because I rely on this setup for trading and now I’m essentially unable to use my normal workstation. I’ve contacted KYY support and sent them photos of the issue, so I’m going to see how they handle it. I’m leaving this review based on the product failure as it stands now, but I will absolutely update it depending on how quickly and professionally KYY resolves the problem. The product itself has honestly been great when it works. Now the real test is whether the company stands behind it when something goes wrong. UPDATE PENDING BASED ON KYY CUSTOMER SUPPORT RESPONSE. UPDATE!!!!!!!! KYY absolutely took care of the issue I wanted to come back and update my original review because KYY handled this about as well as I could have asked. As I mentioned originally, I purchased this setup around February and one of the screens unexpectedly failed about six months later. I rely heavily on these monitors for day trading, so having one screen go out was a pretty major problem for me. I contacted KYY support on Friday and sent them photos and the information they requested. They responded within just a few days and immediately worked to resolve the issue. By Wednesday, I already had the replacement and they didn’t just send me a replacement screen. They sent me an entirely new monitor setup. That’s seriously impressive customer service. Things can go wrong with electronics, and while I obviously wasn’t happy that the original screen failed, what matters just as much to me is how a company handles the problem afterward. KYY stood behind their product and made it right extremely quickly with basically no hassle. I’ve loved this setup since I bought it, and after seeing how their customer service handled this situation, I feel even better recommending it. Changing my review to 5 stars. Great product and, more importantly, excellent customer support when I actually needed them.

The set up takes a few minutes, but once you make all the adjustments, it’s great! I purchased the individual portable screen a few years ago, but needed an additional screen to stay productive. I’d been eyeing this laptop extender for a year or so, and I’m very glad I pulled the trigger. It folds up nicely and fits into my travel computer bag very nicely. I travel often and I’m excited to take this on my next trip at the end of next month!

I’ve been using this monitor for almost a month and am quite happy with its performance. First of all, the connectivity is super easy and quick with the provided two-way USB-C cable. The monitor is always in ‘ready-to-use’ mode. The folding stand allows you to position the monitor at any convenient angle. Second, the display is crisp, soothing to the eyes with no glare and no blur. Third, but not the least, the battery life and charging is really good. Overall, it is really value for money and a highly recommended product.

Very good quality, easy to setup

Been using for over a month now as 3rd screen (with two full size monitors) and it's great. Fits perfectly under my monitors between them and my keyboard. Just plug and play and you just need to set the position in the extend display settings so your mouse moves the way you want.
