Bought for international travel. I take lots of red eye flights and I don’t like having my lamp on out of respect for other travelers. This lamp allows me to comfortably read while keeping my light to myself and not disturbing anyone else. The flexible wired sides allow it to be positioned differently to suit the needs of the moment. I actually use this at home lot too, for example if I’m reading in a spot where I don’t have quite enough light from a lamp across the room etc. The battery is spectacular, I’ve had this lamp over a year and I’ve only had to charge it a few times. I leave it plugged in overnight and it lasts for ages after. I knocked off one star for the “Lightweight” category simply because of you are an ultra-lightweight traveler (one bag, etc) I think there are probably better options, but that is a rare exception and I think for the vast majority of people this is a perfect reading lamp for travel. Definitely recommended.

If you need a book light this is the one to get! OK remember the old book lights that you had to take off of the book after you went through a few pages??? Well get rid of those old style book lights; this, is the new version and it’s absolutely wonderful. This light fits comfortably around your neck and it is bendable so that you can change it for the size and width of your page. It also gives you several different choices of lights and brightnesses. I would highly recommend this light to anyone who likes to read in bed and not disturb their better half. It also doubles as a great light if you’re walking around a dark house which I’ve done several times. It has definitely limited the amount of times I stub my toe. So if you need a light this is the one I would suggest great value great light!!

When I am not engrossed in an ebook on my kindle app, I am reading physical books. Even this techie still likes the feel of an actual book in her hands. However, the only time I really get to read is at night after everyone else is asleep. And I prefer to read while in bed. Unfortunately, with a regular book, that usually meant I would have to have my clip lamp on, which meant my husband had to endure an annoying light in his eyea during the wee hours. For the sake of our marriage, I tried several book lights. I tried clip ons. Those are annoying because I read quickly and the page turning typically gets in the way of the light and they aren't that bright so it would put a strain on my eyes. This one works hands free around my neck, is adjustable for the direction, and cushioned on the back, and it had 3 brightness settings and 3 color temp settings. This was perfect for me. My husband said it doesn't bother him either, and it doesn't fall off when I shift reading positions. This would also be great for college students studying in their rooms. I might get another for my nephew. Either way, it is definitely a must have for book lovers!

I really like these lights. I obviously got them to read in the dark but came to find out theyre good for a couple other things too. I'm on a certain herbal medication that I only take a couple hours before bed time. I usually have to turn on a lamp or go into the other room to avoid waking my wife but these provide an excellent hands free option for light. The battery is also good. I honestly forgot it was rechargeable. I got them in and sat them on the table beside my reading/gaming chair and later that night decided to read a bit before taking my medicine and turned them on. I use them about 1 or 2 hours a night every night and after 5 days of using them they needed charged and when I went to replace the battery I was like oh yeah they're rechargeable. Theyre really awesome and for the price you really can beat it.

My husband and I typically read in bed after putting the kids down each evening. He often will stay up later than me, and for ages his lamp was so bright that it made falling asleep difficult for me. Then, I came across this little gem on Amazon and purchased it right away. He absolutely loves it and uses it nearly every night! It has various settings that are bright enough for him to read clearly while still allowing me to peacefully fall asleep. He had also used them on our long-distance travels in busses and airplanes. We highly recommend it!

This little flashlight is so handy. I use it mostly for knitting at night while watching TV/movies. It also works well for reading or when you just need a little extra light hands-free! I love that I can adjust the warmth and intensity of the light as well

I have used this light a number of different ways from reading at night, to working on my cars engine, all the way to walking my dog at night. Fairly light weight material.I do like the fact that it is rechargeable and does recharge very quickly. I also like the three light hues from natural to almost 5000k white light with adjustable dimming.The buttons are very easy to use and locate in the dark.It is a bargain at this price point.
