Control buttons located where you hold it, so you keep changing temperature setting inadvertently (bad design as other reviewers have mentioned). I think the idea is that you would use this to have "straight hair with some body". I have wavy hair. The directions are you have to dry hair thoroughly before using. If i'm going to have to dry it first i can use a regular brush and hair dryer to do that. Then run an iron through it to get the same result. Not sure why you would use this vs. a regular straightening iron. Hard to manage/control. For $25 it's not the end of the world to try, but wouldn't necessarily recommend it. Plus, directions were clearly written by someone who's first language is not English.
