I added this to Zen Estilo to help improve start-up and reduce noisy valves. However, I didn't notice much improvement in these two aspects but engine pickup had improved in 2nd gear by a lot. Yes, it works but not in all aspects and it can vary according to each car. 300ml quality is a lot and I added this oil after 3 months of engine oil change (however it wasn't driven for even 1000kms during this time). I'll have to see the improvements only when driving it more often. No harm in adding this to your engine oil but if you can afford a good quality fully synthetic oil, then it should be ok.

Amazing product. After just 5 minutes of filling it in my engine oil, I could hear a smoothness in the sound. The sound keeps getting better over time. I’ll buy every time I change the engine oil from now on.

Was good. Quite thick. Thicker than 3M. But might have reduced mileage a bit. Decided to go with liqui moly in future. But worth the price.

If you are buying cheaper recycled oil which sells at <Rs200 a litre, then you must buy this additive. The recycled oils are many times branded as synthetic oil and even given viscosity grades like 10W30, 10W40 etc but one can actually see that these oils tend to be thinner than branded ones. So, using Abro oil additive at about 5% (50-60ml per litre) will increase the viscosity to the better level for smoother performance and lower engine wear. Recycled oil is made from refining used engine oil of vehicles and ships. If refined properly, it is as good as grade 3 synthetic oil. Always buy recycled oil from trusted vendors as some cheat by giving sunflower oil mix. Good recycled oils don't degrade and are as good as branded grade 3 synthetic ones (group 4 & 5 oils like ester oil are better but very expensive). The drawback will be in viscosity as they don't use good additives that adjust viscosity. This is where Abro oil treatment becomes useful. I have personally used Yamaha oil and Piston Lubetech (online brand) 10W40 engine oil and Abro mixture. Yamaha oil becomes rough after 500km compared to Piston+Abro. Also, I found that Yamaha oil degrades and burns more compared to the local oil! Yamaha oil costs Rs430/l whereas Piston oil cost Rs720 for 4l. When 200-240ml of Abro is added to 4l, the total cost is less than Rs240/l with performance similar to branded synthetic oils costing Rs500+/l. However, if one is intending to use this with high quality branded synthetic oils, then this is a waste of money. If the vehicle is old, just get a thicker grade oil like 10W30 instead of 5W30 and it will also work smooth. No need to spend extra on oil additives.
