Bought these as replacement filters for my whole-house Aquasana system (EQ-600), and they work as expected, being the OEM Aquasana filter. Slightly better deal than buying from the manufacturer directly. And they definitely work, because there is residue in the bottom of my filter canister every time I change it out!

We ordered these regularly. They make a huge difference in the taste of our water. Even our ice cubes are different.

Work perfect for the no salt water system

fits right, good value. However, if you procrastinate 2 years, 6 months and a few days to replace, and only really do so because your water pressure has dropped to the point of a slow trickle, beware. When your water pressure returns to normal thanks to the new filter, it's going to flush out all the crud that collected in the tanks that collected because of the low water pressure. If you also forget that the line needs to have the air bled out, you may end up with an angry spouse. Specifically, if she's the first one to use the water by flushing the toilet, it may sound like it's ready to explode. You may end up running into the bathroom to a very worried spouse and wonder how it appears that your sewer has backed up on the second floor of the house. Your kids and dog may then join in the bathroom and start yelling/barking that we need to get out of the house. Fortunately, with a minute or so, the toilet will settle down and after a few flushes, the brown crud in the water will disappear. Also, if you also forgot to get the finishing filter replacement cartridge, count yourself lucky or you'd probably have to replace it right away.

Know exactly what you need.

I have a well and run the water through a softener first and then through the filter unit (Pre-Filter, Main Carbon Filter and then post filter). They say to swap this filter every 3 months. Of course you forget and I did mine after 5 months - only to see it was barely brownish in color. I assume, the larger sediments get filtered out in the softener (and that gets backwashed every so often automatically) so that not much stuff gets into the filter. I will probably still swap the filter out every 4 months or so. I have not noticed any drop in pressure or increase in pressure after changing. Just good to know it catches fine stuff.
