Morris & Co Strawberry Thief Red Coasters - Set of 6

I love these placemats. They are beautiful and infinitely practical for our day to day use. Looked at them quite a while online before finally buying them at a slightly reduced price. We have a new dining table, but we use it at least 3 times a day. These help protect it from very warm plates and mugs (up to 212 degrees), they are able to be wiped with a damp cloth, and the cork bottom protects the table. With a cloth placemat, I would worry about an overlooked dampness being left to sit on the table. While they are more expensive, they are worth the price. If they were available in a slightly bigger size, I would buy those, too!

Love these coasters! Look just like the pictures. Cork backed. Great color.

I bought these to replace my previous set that lasted 8 years! My previous set were still functional, just had wear from heavy use on the top laminate. I expect these to last the same if not longer. So much better than any other material for placemats- protects against heat transfer, quick to wipe clean, and classy aesthetic.

Pimpernel placemats dress up any table. The “strawberry thieves” design is delightful, the ease-of-use could not be better—- they are thick, hard-surfaced and easy to clean. They don’t stain, are very durable and heat resistant. In addition, they are a great value for the money. I love them!

In December2023 I ordered the Thief Red Collection hard Placemats that were to be heat and stain resistant. I was 100% satisfied with them. The pattern was lovely and the colors were vibrant. They were very sturdy and easy to wipe clean. Well worth the $41.48 for the set of four that I paid. To my dismay in January 2024 I noticed that one of the placemats began to chip, I thought that it was dirty and tried to rub the spots with a soft cloth. The chips became larger. Never was a hot pan used with the mat, only your standard dinner plate. Amazon was contacted to see if I could purchase one placemat and was informed a full set has to be purchased. I was also told since it was over 30 days they could not be returned. I explained that this was a defective product and the return should be accepted without any further charges. They offered that I return all four placemats and they would charge approximately $7.00 for the return. I did not think this was good customer service and declined the offer. Do not waste your money and pay $41.00 on a set of placemats that only last one month. They are definitely not worth the price also I prefer to do business with a company that provides better customer service.

Beautiful placemats. Great quality, I know they will last years even with daily use/abuse.

Can’t go wrong with Pimpernel. Beautiful designs & good quality cork backing. The Strawberry Thief pattern (in red) is one of my all-time favorites. Sophisticated yet a happy pattern which brightens up my table & my day. Got the matching placemats as well.

Nice colors; cork backing; attractive and well made

Very pretty, use them a lot, especially for toddler placemats and for placing hot dishes on the table. Clean nicely. No problems with them.

Exactly like the picture! Can't wait to use it for Christmas dinner!

schnelle Lieferung, alles bestens, vielen Dank

Very good quality. Item is described. I'm very happy with my purchase.

There are very few colourful table mats available but this brand had an interesting pattern and good colour. The weight is good too. When I don’t want to put a cloth on the oak table the mats can substitute in a jiffy and they are good looking; better than. Cloth. I will buy another four and ask more for dinner
