Thai Fisherman Pants-great value, comfortable and stylish
Mens' yoga shorts/pants run $40-$60+. Being on the prowl for an economical alternative, I discovered these and read a bunch of the reviews and decided to try them out. I wore these to a hot yoga class, not knowing what to expect. I got many compliments! Both men and women were asking about where I got them and wanted some. When putting these on, ties go to the back. Pull up material. Gather at the left side and fold back. Hold in place. Grab ties from back and bring around to the front and tie firmly with a simple bow knot. Pull material above ties over and down. You will get the hang of these fairly quickly. These are supposedly "one size fits all" or "free size", according to the listing description. I am a male, size 38, and they fit me really well. I do wish the ties were longer. With that said, I have not had any embarrassing mishaps where the ties suddenly became untied and the pants fell down to the ankles.😳The limiting factor is the length of the ties, not the pant waist dimensions. So, if you could extend the ties with a similar or complimentary color material, (the ties don't show, other than where they might hang in front, so ideally, any extension should originate from the back) or just replacing the ties with some other longer ties, then these could accommodate much larger waists, perhaps as much as 50" or more. The actual waist opening is 54". The legs of course, are quite wide, about 27" at the ankle, allowing easy movement in all asanas. These would also work well for most martial arts, tai chi, or even to wear during the hot summer months instead of jeans or shorts. The material is cotton. It is not rough, but has a nice texture to it and an interesting weave. It is light, but dense enough that it is not see-through, so no worries there. It is very absorbent. During my hot yoga practice, it absorbed a lot of sweat, but always felt comfortable, never clammy. There is a decent sized pocket on the right thigh, just off to the side, 7.75" wide x 7.5" deep or so.The quality of the sewing is outstanding. No, really, these are excellent and unique pants. Seams are smooth, even and without extra threads hanging about. What a deal! They are truly a bargain, especially with free shipping from...Thailand!!! I will have to ask the seller if they can add some other colors. I bought 4 different pairs and really love them.Gentle Wash in cold water, minimum soap or use Woolite. Line dry or cool dry.Delivery from Thailand can take a couple weeks or so. If you are a little bit adventurous, get these pants. You will not be disappointed!

Great pants
These are excellent pants. Comfortable and light weight. My only complaint is their is a weird seam on the right leg that seems to cause a weird fold that catches on my knee at a certain length and having to untie to use the restroom and the back half falls down exposing the rear end.Seems very durable.Wash first before wearing. I tried them on first and were scratchy. After washing, didn’t fry them, they were a little stiff but relaxed as the day went on.I’m 6’2 and depending on where you tie them can be a little short. This is where I had issues with the weird seam. But if you like eco friendly pants that look nice and great for everyday use.

Comfortable, and well sewn
I am 5'3, 125 lbs with a 33" waist currently. I usually wear 32" length jeans. On me, when I wrapped them straight out of the package, the excess wraps to my left side, but not around to the side or back. I haven't washed them yet, this is a "big," but acceptable fit. The pant legs are to the back of my heel. At the time i'm currently reviewing them, I haven't washed them yet, and I think the fabric still has some sizing which makes the fabric slightly stiffer and easier to work with when sewing. I am pretty sure they will get softer with a wash, and drape more.I know people seem to prefer the Siamese Fisherman pants long, but I might look into also getting a pair that is a more traditional length in the future too.The pants have a J-Seam in the crotch which is what I was hoping for. When I wrapped them on out of the package, the pocket sits on the front of my right leg. The tag inside has machine washing instructions and displays LannaPremium. The bag they come in has instructions on how to put them on with photos and text in English, so there's no confusion on how to tie them. The pair I got was beautifully sewn! 💖💖💖💖💖All the seams are turned in and stitched so there are no raw edges, which encloses the open weave fabric professionally. The seams are pressed flat at joins and beautifully sewn. The crotch area is finished the same way and also beautifully stitched and finished in that tricky area where the panels all meet. They also came pressed beautifully in the bag. I wish I could compliment the seamstress or sewist on their skill constructing my pair, but couldn't find a worker's mark. Someone had mentioned inconsistencies between orders, but if there is, my pair is very well made and I only have compliments on their construction. 5 stars! Inconsistencies can happen between artists sewing the garments, and I was prepared for that but again I wasn't disappointed with my pair. The fabric is a medium weight loose open weave. Light breezes seem to come in through the weave of the fabric which is nice on a hot day. I don't know how durable they are yet, or how they wash since I jumped the gun reviewing these, but If anything changes, I will update my review to reflect them. So far I'm happy.

These are my new favorite cozy pants!!
My husband and I each ordered a pair. I got mine as a one size fits most and he ordered the 2XL. (two different brands) They are the same size. Both packaging tags on the bags had no size printed nor are there sizes printed in the pants. He is a 40x30 and while they did fit, he felt the back of them seemed like it was going to fall off his backside. I however am a women's size 14 and I love them and kept both pairs for myself. I'm only 5 ft and having house pants that fit in the hips without dragging on the floor is like finding a hidden treasure! I use a sliding slip knot for the ties to keep them from, I don't know, lets say falling in the toilet! They are light weight and great for Gulf weather. They may not be "fashionable" but I personally don't care, I love them!

Good for Lounging About
I'm rating these "LannaPremium 2 Tone Thai Fisherman Pants Yoga Trousers Free Size Cotton Gray Black" at an OK 3 stars out of 5, but how you'd rate them would depend on what you want out of them. I was hoping for some light, casual pants I could lounge about in at home and also wear out to things like fast-food restaurants. The lounging around the house part will be fine. But, I don't think the fast-food restaurant part will work. Not really because of how they look (heck, if I can look like a slob by wearing sweat pants out, I can look like a ninja by wearing these), but because of the lack of pockets. There's only one pocket. If I'm wearing these correctly, it's on the outside of the right leg. Right now, besides the lack of pockets, my biggest issue is that the cords used to tie the pants around the waist are only barely long enough to knot around my 38 inch waist. I'm also a tad worried about the length. After one washing, they're right at my ankles (I'm 5' 10" tall with about a 31 inch inseam (oddly, before washing, these had an inseam length of 22-1/2 inches -- after one washing, 22 inches (the total length went from 43 inches to 40-1/2 inches))). Some other observations:- The material was very soft before washing. Afterwards, it's just a bit scratchier (nothing bad).- The material is very light and thin with a loose weave. I'm not sure how long they'll last.- There are no tags of any sort on them. So, there's no indication of what they're made of (of course, the store page says 100% cotton and that seems correct) or of how to take care of them (I just washed them in Warm water with like colors).All-in-all, for the price, they look fairly good and are reasonable for around-the-house wear (or somewhere casual where the lack of pockets won't be a bother). With another pocket, I'd probably up my rating. But, as is, I'll stick with that OK 3 stars out of 5.

Absolutly enormous... had to go back
Not only was the waist enormous but the legs were quite long - not that it's any surprise that one-size-fits-all means ... awful. I get what these are supposed to be, and watched a couple of youtube videos to get the draping/wrapping notion of these right - they are just far too large, a smaller version would be great. Perhaps if you're 220 and 6'4" you might - might like them... but for me it wasn't just the enormous leg openings or the waist that was x4+ the size a normal human would need... there was just miles and miles of fabric that no amount of folding or tucking could remedy. It looks good in the picture only due to the way the model is standing - gives a sort of tapering effect... the crotch on these was miles away, and that's after I folded the red waist material over so far that it was a nice pretty dress hanging down well past my butt. I'm tempted to ask my tailor to make something in this style (just using far less fabric)

No so much for pregnant wife, yes so much for slightly overweight husband
I used to own something called Hakama pants that I bought while living in Japan. True story, being a tall and stocky guy, I had to go to the sumo district in Tokyo, and go to the shop where they fit uniforms for sumo wrestlers. The woman fitting me totally gave me shade about the circumference of my midsection. She was like: "You're big around here (points to stomach) but not so big around here (points to arms.)" Thanks lady.ANYway, for years, they were my absolute favorite pants for relaxing, and a go-to any time that I felt under the weather. Something about the type of fabric just feels really good, and they flow nicely when walking around. Sadly I finally wore them out.Fast forward many years, my wife is now pregnant with our second child. I wanted to buy her something to ease the general discomfort and horribleness that is pregnancy, so the hakama pants came to mind.I did a little research, and found these thai fisherman pants are actually quite close, but cost much much less, so I ordered a pair.Sadly, my wife did not seem to enjoy them. She said while pregnant, the method of tie cuts into the belly in a not so nice way. Afterwards, she tried wearing it once in the hospital and said "oooh, they're nice" while her face said without question "I absolutely hate these."Happy ending tho, I was able to co-opt these pants, and I freaking love them. They remind me so much of my old Hakama pants, with only slightly cheaper fabric, for 1/20th the cost. I work from home most days, and the video conferencing camera only shows from the waist up, so it's business up top, thai fishing down below.Grab yourself a couple pair of these paints, you won't be disappointed (presuming you are not pregnant.)

I'm just going to live in these from now on.
I abso-bloody-lootly LOVE these!!!I've ordered several pair in different color combo's. Green being my favorite color I love the 2-tone green color of these. It's such a nice natural looking green too, like the color of grass and leaves. I have one single issue with all of these fisherman pants, I would like the tie to be about 2 feet longer so I could double wrap it and make a cooler looking, more 'native' folded, tied, bunched look at the waist, like in the picture. Yet I love them still. And, how is this price possible?! I don't think one could even buy the raw fabric for that price. I hesitate to say that because I'm a poor-boy and really can only afford them because of the price. But they are wonderfully comfortable and fit my lifestyle, and I think I'm the only person in my area wearing such. I feel like a trail-blazer of future fashion.

Exactamente de mi largo y muy cómodo
Excelente producto. Es cómodo y fresco. Me quedé con la impresión de que las cuerdas para sujetarlo eran un poco cortas, pero quizás es el estilo.
