My son's words, "What mom doesn't know won't hurt her." I let him have that one. It slices, it dices, it gives great feedback when you've tried to cut through something you're not suppose to. Money well spent for my son's first katana. This year four times better of a blade.

The media could not be loaded. Good quality, definitely worth the money.

Make sure that you're not buying this to just play with, very sharp, does in fact cut through paper like advertised.Also, when sheathing don't close all the way or it will be hard to get out, or maybe I'm just weak.

Not super sharp .but I bought it for display and it is a really cool looking Katana .. very pleased with it .

We’re from Japan and have been searching for a katana for my husband and to complete our Japanese 2nd living room. Now it’s complete.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this sword and a cheaper one both are great. However this one has more detail and overall is a little bit better I mean you get what you pay for. I had a $20 off coupon which was awesome as well. Seeing as there were no other reviews I figured I would share this. It is extremely sharp out of the box. Also please pardon the mess my fiancé and I just moved.
