Playtex Baby Ventaire Anti Colic Baby Bottle, BPA Free, 9 Ounce - 3 Count

When I had to make the switch from nursing to bottle feeding I went through a few different brands/types of baby bottles. I specifically was looking for something that would help with my baby’s gas. I love how these are vented at the bottom of the bottle (vs most venting in the nipple). Like most bottles there are multiple nipple options for different flow, which is nice so you can start with an extra slow flow if wanted. I feel like they’re super easy to clean, and like other reviewers have mentioned I’ve NEVER had these leak. There’s a little gasket seal thing in the bottom of the bottle cap (part of the anti colic vent design) that’s easy to remove that I’m assuming if it doesn’t get properly washed or removed (it’s not stuck it’s designed to come out for washing) i could see it causing leakage if it’s got buildup or not in it correctly. I’ve been using these for my baby for over a year every single day & they’re my favorite hands down & will be using for the next baby!😊To ADD I’ve noticed that all the reviews mentioning leaking are more recent reviews for 2020. I purchased these in August 2019, so maybe these are a new design? Mine do not leak ever.

I tried these bottles because we had purchased the Playtex Nurser bottles with drop-ins on a recent vacation and they worked really well. I needed to purchase some everyday bottles that could hold more than 4 ounces, and I just felt that a lot of bottles were fairly expensive. We had used Phillip's Avent bottles in the 4oz and liked them enough, so I was close to purchasing that brand in the 9oz. My frugal nature took over though, and I realized that these Ventaire bottles would likely work well for us.I actually really love these bottles. If the included nipples don't work for you, Playtex has a variety of nipples to try. I also like that the bottom of the bottle comes off. After cleaning the bottles, they dry so quickly, which is really great when you're busy and don't have lots of time to wait between sterilizing and making more bottles. I don't notice a lot of air bubbles, so the venting must be working. We also don't have problems with the nipples collapsing. Lastly, the price is right.

We tried several brands of bottles - Dr. Brown's, Tommee Tippee, First Years, and one other (can't remember the name). Like others have said, we "committed" to Dr. Brown's as our brand of choice on our registry and sterilized them all and threw away the boxes (so they can't be returned). We started our baby on a bottle a day (of breastmilk) at 4 weeks old, and at first she took them. Then, out of the blue, she started refusing bottles. I went back to work and daycare couldn't get her to eat...it was heartbreaking! We frantically tried several additional brands that friends swore by, and only found a solution when we found the VentAire Wide bottles! It was like magic!!Six months later, we are still using these bottles every day. They are fairly easy to clean (easier than any of the other brands listed above) and we have not had any leak issues (other than when I have failed to screw the bottom on tightly...or, when I've forgotten to put the bottom silicone ring on - one of those "fatigue mistakes" where you laugh hysterically at yourself!). And the caps do work to prevent leaks while traveling, as long as you have them clicked all the way down to the ring.My first recommendation is don't over-commit to one brand before you meet your baby. It's tough because you want to be prepared in advance and you're "nesting" and you have a registry, etc. But your baby is going to choose which bottles work for him/her. My second recommendation is THESE BOTTLES. The nipple shape, flow, texture (not as "plastic-y" as other bottles) and ergonomic design set them apart from everything else out there!As a side note, we have also used the standard width Playtex VentAire bottles, and our daughter seems to be fine with them. But the nipple goes way down the back of her mouth - looks like she is going to choke on it. I think the wide bottles give a much more natural latch...especially for really wee ones.

Love love love these bottles...for the most part. They are great. I love the angle of the bottle. The air goes through the bottom of the bottle, so the nipple never collaspes. They are easy to clean since you can take the entire bottle apart to clean. Just make sure you clean the blue stopper really well, that sees to collect the most stuck on stuff. It is easy to clean though. One WARNING...if you plan to heat up the bottle in a bottle heater...don't do it! Heat will cause the blue stopper to warp and your milk will leak out when set upright! To prevent this we used some old bottle bottoms we had to put in the bottle warmer to heat the milk, then transfer to this bottle. You could also buy super cheap bottles for the same purpose. Yes, a little more dishes, but like this bottle so much its worth it. The nipples are great, and if you don't like the ones it comes with they have quite a variety to interchange that you can buy. My son easily took both the breast and bottle with these nipples. I would recommend to anyone.

I had tried the original VentAire with my oldest daughter (she's 11 now) and didn't care for them too much. I felt that they were kind of a pain with the pieces and the design. I tend to lean more towards the wide bottles and once I saw that these were now a wide bottle and the pieces were more "user friendly," I decided to give them a shot. I liked these much more than the original VentAire. Wider opening up top made it easier to make a bottle one-handed, which every parent has to do now and then. The pieces were easier to put together quickly. I also liked the fact that you could use the same nipples as with the drop-ins. My daughter didn't really have issues with gas or sucking air. My only gripe about these bottles is that a couple did leak after some usage. I couldn't see that I was doing anything wrong, putting them together is pretty hard to mess up :) My only guess is that the vent got a little warped with washing but I never did look into buying just the replacement vents. Other than this, I liked these very much and still use them for my 9 month old. Definitely worth a shot! Playtex didn't let down with this item.

This bottle is awful, which is a shame because I am such a huge fan of the Playtex drop in bottles. I have used the Playtex drop ins with all three of my kids and they are fantastic. I bought these bottles to send to daycare with my third child because they require his bottles to be pre-made and then warmed in a bottle warmer. I figured since these bottles use the same nipples/tops as the drop-ins it would be convenient to be able to switch back and forth between home and daycare. The problem is these leak everywhere. The first day I left my son at daycare, they called me and said his bottle leaked all over the place and were apologizing profusely saying they must have done something wrong. The same thing happened the second day. Finally, over this past weekend, I tried using it and the same thing happened. I triple checked to make sure the little plastic piece was on tight inside on the bottom, but it still sweats from the bottom of the bottle leaving a little puddle anywhere you set it. So disappointing. I would return if I still had the box.

I like the idea of these but I have more pros than cons.I used these primarily on my trip overseas when I couldn't buy the disposable liners for the platex nurser.These seemed great, I didn't have any leaks out the bottom, and I washed them in the dishwasher quite a bit, they worked just as well as the disposable bottle. But then I left on my vacation and that's when thy problems started.I was washing them by hand and there are a lot of parts but that wasn't part of the issue. But water would get into each of the gaps that each piece of the bottle created and only (and I repeat, only) when you start shaking the bottle to mix the formula or start feeding baby does the water or formula start coming out. And it gets everywhere. I thought the bottle was leaking at first.My other issue is the arrows on the lid and base don't line up, they don't have the nice click that the disposable bottle has. And you really have tighten down the bottom to get it to the arrows so it doesn't leak.Lastly the breather piece on the bottom would get stuck every other feeding or so, which is super annoying when you paid for bottles that breath.A pro is that there isn't much noise with the breathable part (I have some noisy bottles), the curve of the bottle is a nice feature, and for our trip it worked out well, but I'm going back to the disposables. I only had 3 bottles and it was enough.

I received some Playtex Vent Aire bottles as a gift and my baby prefers them to any other brand including Avent and Born Free. There is some assembly required so it's best to have these cleaned, put together & ready to go when baby is hungry.I purchased these bottles without realizing they were a different size to what I already had. These are the WIDE bottles, whereas mine are STANDARD. There is no difference to my baby, she dribbles less with these, has had no problems with colic, hiccups or gas. I would recommend these to anyone over any other brand.But when ordering, make sure you get the correct size nipples. These bottles come with Fast Flow nipples. Luckily, the Slow Flow nipples that I ordered were for this size bottle. However, the Medium Flow nipples I ordered were for the standard size bottle.The replacement disks for the bottom fit both size bottles so that is convenient.I would buy the Standard Size simply because they are slimmer and easier to fit into a bag when travelling.

Con mi primer hija use los biberones Playtex, sin problemas. Los recomiendo por su diseño que ayudan a hacer más ergonómica la postura de bebé y papás al momento de alimentar.

Ya van 3 veces que compro de estos biberones para regalos. Provocan menos colicos en los bebés y son fáciles de usar y lavar. Seguiré comprando estos biberones.

Las compré para mi sobrina a su mamá le encantó el diseño y sobre todo que funciona muy bien para la bb
