It is very soft, and breathable. Another one I tried, that was more of a spandex type feel, worked very well but it irritated her front legs from rubbing. It was only after I got it on my boy dog that I realized there is no way this will work for a boy. No opening on the tummy so he can pee. She didn’t mind wearing this at all. Even learned after the second day to come over to me before going outside so I can roll up the back for potty. Only negative is it isn’t very secure when rolling up the back and Velcro-ing it so they can use the bathroom. It kept falling down no matter how I secured it and she ended up peeing on it a few times where I had to wash it and put back on the donut during that time (which she hated lol).
