ijnstalled it today and it works geat

This holds my laptop lid securely with less bouncing and jostling of the lid while driving. No install instructions were included so I had to zoom in on internet images to figure out where/how to start. This mounts to the back edge of the laptop tray, not the side. The top support arm holds the laptop lid by pulling out and then turning the support piece so it pinches from the front and back of the lid.

One of my computer screens had excessive flip flop going down dirt roads bought this to alleviate it and it did. Another add on for you laptop mount that is a must and well worth the alleviation of the aggravation of the constant screen bobbing. easy to install and works.

Very nice addition to the ridiculously expensive laptop stand. Only complaint is that once again, there are no clear instructions as to the best/suggested way to mount it. It seems like it would be obvious but you will see. There is a notch and it rotates a little so its a bit unclear. It just bothers me that for the price of their equipment that they don't do better with installed pictures or instruction forms.

Worked great with the Ram Mount Universal Laptop Tough-Tray Holder. Added some self sticking soft-sided velcro to arm where it holds the screen just to insure a more secure, scratch-free fit. I go into more detail for its use in my review of the Ram Mount Tough-Tray.

holds laptop lid open very well ..should help keeping the hing on laptop from breaking... love it ..i did ass some soft rubber hose over the ends that touch the laptop screen so it wont scratch the screen or laptop.... this is something deezee should add to this arm so it dont scratch your screen lid
