A: Yes, it should work fine as long as you're not making it a large application. Its dries and seals well. It doesn't have too much shrinkage.

A: It will seal around the windshield. It has a glossy finish

**Q: Could I use it to seal a pore/hole/crack (not visible) at the windshield gasket?**
A: yes, I think you can. I used it in the kitchen for sealing the counter top. I had to remove it months later and I used a razer blade to remove it.
