Diablo Steel Demon Cermet II Saw Blade - 6-1/2" Diameter, 48 TCG Teeth

I do not often review products, however this saw blade has changed the way I work with steel. I thoroughly enjoy fabrication and welding. Prior to this saw blade I made most of my cuts with a torch or cutoff wheel. This has made it so much faster and easier to cut straight lines on full sheets of steel, especially when paired with a cordless circular saw. I have not worn one out yet and will add to my review when I do. Attached are a few pictures of a some 1/8” flat stock I cut to show the side profile. Crisp clean edges, no sharp burs. Excited to see what else this product can do.

Great quality. Cuts fast and no signs of dulling yet. Lots count of how pieces of metal I've cut with it. Longevity with all the ripper cuts I've done has been analyzing. I will buy another if this one wears out. Highly recommend. Spe d the money and buy it if you need one.

Does it’s job against metal studs

Does a great job, just don’t force it and be warned: THE CHIPS ARE HOT and there are a lot of ‘em! So be prepared for some clean-up.

After watching several video demos of this blade cutting steel I can say without hesitation after using it, this blade is amazing. I cut tabs off of a stainless steel shower corner shelf like it was butter. The blade did not heat up or mark or otherwise distort the shelf. I also made an exacting trim on the same corner shelf piece effortlessly. I didn’t think it even possible to cut 1/4” thick metal with a cordless 6-1/2” circular saw but it with this blade

I can not believe how well this thing works. I use metal roofing materials often, and have cut them with several different methods. I saw these in a local store, but it wasn't in the size I need for my cordless saw. At nearly forty bucks, it wasn't gonna be an impulse buy anyway. Since I decided to go for it, though, I am crazy about it. My 18 volt saw struggled to cut metal with my previous blades, and it really went through the batteries fast. I haven't used this blade on an extended project yet, but the ease with which it cuts tells me that those problems are over. I haven't had it long enough to attest to its durability either, but I expect that it will be around for a while. This just based on the lack of stress that the blade and saw experience during use. It just seems to sprint through a cut and be looking for more. At long last I have the right tool for the job!

I bought this blade for my Milwaukee cordless metal saw. I used it to cut some 1/8” angle and flat steel. It worked great. I knew my old blade was dull but I didn’t realize just how bad it was. This new blade cut the steel very easily. I did notice there are already a few chipped teeth but that is more likely because of me than the blade. A good metal blade for the money.

I've used this to cut all the "recommended" sizes, but i've also cut stuff up to 1" flat bar by 8" wide, or 1/4" sheet by 3ft long. I use this blade on my 18v Makita cordless skill saw. Just have to go slow and let the blade do its work, don't push too hard and it'll go. I have only had the one blade, but it has stood up to a significant amount of abuse in 1018/A36/similar mild steel. The only problem is I go through batteries more quickly on my saw now, I should probably switch to a corded saw since this blade takes some more power to rub. Overall, excellent blade. Looking forward to buying more, but I haven't needed to yet.

Me sorprendió corta muy fácil el metal ya lo use para cortar tubos eléctrico, ptr de 1 1/2 incluso placa de 1/4 de grosor y corta muy bien lo que si recomiendo es usar una careta para cortar ya que si desprende rebabas al cortar y con los lentes no es suficiente protección

Good blade

So far I've only made about 30 cuts, but it still cuts like butter even cutting two sheets at a time and is holding up well. For the cost it saved me having to drag my trailer on an 8 hr trip as I could fit the cut steel in the back of the truck. More than paid for itself. Have not tried thicker material, but with my 18v cordless circular saw it didn't hesitate at all. Wear goggles though as the metal bits tend to hit you in the face from time to time.
