These baskets work as advertised. They are very small and you need several (4-5) in a 6” or 8” pot. I am not convinced that these work as well as sprinkling fertilizer pellets on the surface of the medium but there are situations where they can be very useful. They are a good option if you want to remove the fertilizer for some reason or if you think the fertilizer may spill out of the pot. I am using these for orchids planted in a bark mix. These would be helpful with mounted orchids. They could be tied to the mount. I have not had a problem with them not snapping shut except When I overfilled them.

I knew they would be small before I ordered them, but they're really too small for all but the smallest plants. I end up needing to use 2 for 3inch containers, 4 for a gallon container, and 8-10+ for anything larger than that. It gets tedious trying to fill them up. The quality is OK for the price, but some of them are difficult to close or lost the cap during shipping. If you order more than you need it'll be OK.

Too small to use and very flimsy. Too small for even my smallest bonsai. The cups barely the size of a thimble.

5 out of 100 were missing caps or with broken stems. Not bad. Size is small, fits one triangle of biogold, 100 covered about 1/2 bag of bio gold fertilizer nuggets. Will be ordering more.
