The most annoying to me is the inconsistent thickness of the points. See the attached photo. The one in the middle has less taper and makes it a thicker point than the others. It still sticks, but it is inconsistent with the other two. The edges burr really easy, so be mindful of that when you go sliding your finger down the spine. The pros of this set is that they are cheap. It's an affordable entry into throwing knives of good weight and size. They are perfect in those two points. I love the weight and the feel of these 10" throwers. No spin throwing is a breeze with these and they sink deep into the hardest wood. For a first time knife thrower, I would definitely recommend these. I suspect they are forgeries, though. The quality of the stitching on the sheath is just crummy. The quality isn't something I'd liken to a Smith&Wesson product. Maybe they outsourced the work or something, I don't know, but I wouldn't let any of this stop me from buying this set again.
