With 10 beautiful matte finish shades, there’s a colour for everyone. The water-based, low odour formulation has a water repellent finish that also contains additives to discourage dark stains caused by exterior rain or moisture. The paint can be used directly on wood (bare or painted), brick, stone, plaster, metal and plastic. Preparation for using the Shabby Chic Garden Paint No priming or sanding is necessary on most surfaces, except for bare wood, where sanding is recommended before painting for the best results. Ensure any area that you intend to paint is smooth, dry and free from contaminants like wax and oil. If wax has been used, clean the surface thoroughly with white spirit. Application Stir paint thoroughly prior to use. The product may be applied by brush or roller. If applying by brush, apply evenly following the grain of the wood. If rolling, use a short nap mohair roller. Allow to dry, then lightly rub with moistened sand paper or stainless steel scoring pad for a classic Shabby Chic finish – abrade with the grain of the wood. Coverage Up to 12m2 per litre – coverage may vary depending upon method and rate of application and porosity of surface. Drying Time Touch dry in 1 hour. Handle after 2 hours. Apply second coat after 2 hours if necessary. Full hardness after 3 hours

If you enjoy flushing your money then this is great
Got it for the color but it was watered down really watered and paint all over the container. It was like a used product. Complete waste of time and money. Thought for that kind of money and such a tiny amount that it would be a nice product but scammed again.

Excellent outdoor coverage!
I love this paint because it is thinner than regular paint used for walls. I have used this on all of my outdoor furniture and love the color! I used Country Cream.

Outdoor painting
Had a fence to paint to do a touch up. This paint color matched perfectly went on like a dream. I m well pleased with the product will buy again.

Super small
Once I received the paint in the mail, I noticed how small it was and immediately sent it back, so I did not get to try it out. I am not sure about the quality of the paint, but $40 should get you more paint than what is actually given.

First impression - excellent
Used the paint to refurbish a garden bench. Cleaned the bench first with sugar soap and then applied two coats of the paint - very easy to apply and an excellent matt finish. Cannot comment on durability. Expensive but certainly does the job.

I love this paint
I love this paint....it means I don't have to prep for a few ounces extra. The colour was brilliant. Brighten up my garden. Highly recommended
