Needed chestnuts for Thanksgiving dressing and also to eat. Chestnuts yum. These are clean, cooked through, NOT in any way mushy, and serve the purpose beautifully. I would happily buy again and will for Christmas!

These were excellent, no mold, packed in glass, and very tasty! I read other reviews where other companies shipped them and they came with mold; this comes from France, and quality control was excellent.

These Chestnuts are exactly what I was hoping for. They came out of the jar in whole pieces, they were moist but not mushy, and were ready to go directly in to my stuffing. ( We had a goose) The flavor is very good, as was the texture. I will definitely purchase more, I especially like the fact they are in a sealed glass jar, and you can see exactly what you are getting. They also have a fairly long shelf-life, so that is another plus. I highly recommend them.

It was very good! I only wish it had a little more salt.

I expected better. 💕💕💕 the glass jar. Half way through, they were tasteless & soggy. Kept refrigerated. Not buying again.

I purchased these on two occasions. The first was fine and enjoyable. The second arrived with two dents in the lid and the lid was jiggly loose. I am afraid to eat them and want to so I didn't toss them yet, but this vendor is not on the list of subject to help from Amazon. The jar came well wrapped in bubble wrap, so it was packed with the loose dented lid. there were TWO dents in the lid directly opposite to each other so it looks like an assembly line thing MAYBE.

These chestnuts were delicious! Is used them to make my mother's chestnut dressing recipe for Thanksgiving. She always bought fresh ones, but I would never go to all that work of boiling and shelling them! These chestnuts in a jar were every bit as good as fresh ones!

Next best thing to fresh chestnuts but without the fuss! Delivered on time at good price considering that they are roasted and peeled.

These were great and worth the price. Unlike almost EVERY other product on the market, these did't come from a part of the world I don't trust food to come from and I was very glad to find two brands out of all the others that came from France and a neighboring country. Worth every penny and got to enjoy them for the first time in years. So did a couple of others I shared them with because they expire quickly once opened and I couldn't eat the whole jar in that time myself :)

Excellent Chestnuts and tasty as ever. No hassle of baking and cleaning raw ones. Just eat straight out of the bottle. Delicious and nutritious.

My wife make chestnut soup for a starter of are Christmas Eve dinner,and the soup was fantastic.Great chestnuts

I only gave four stars instead of five because the price is a little bit steep. Besides that I think that these are awesome and have become a staple in my diet! I also love the fact that they're from France.

Doesn’t taste good and old and soggy. Can’t even return the item so wasted my money. Get them u cooked and raw and eat it however u wanna eat. Whatever they did to these doesn’t taste good at all and not a good feeling either
