I like Lume. It took me awhile to getting around to trying it as I had actually been using a different but similarly effective product for awhile by Boscia. I find that with these products, a little goes a long way. Whether from a tube, or from an applicator, the product is creamy. It spreads well, and rubs in nicely. No need to leave it caked, be sure to massage in until it pretty much disappears. With the applicator, when using anywhere than the armpits, add some to finger tips then spread over body parts.I get a funky smell in the leg area when I have been sweaty. I was taking multiple "bird baths" through the day to freshen up, but it never really made a difference. Using a product such as Lume will knock that out. I massage some into leg pits (where legs meet crotch area), around my belly button, butt area, and any spot that I think could benefit from this stuff. I dont use it on my arm pits as I have plenty of deodorant already for that. But it could be used for that.Basically what this is doing is not masking, blocking out odor, but it has components that help eat bacteria causing odor. This is why it is possible that is can be effective for a few days at a time, even with showering. Now, the time frame of how long it works will depend on your body chemistry, your environment, and even what you wear. My clothing isnt all that breathable so that has much to do with the funk smell. Pools of sweat in hot body regions. Yuck. I use Lume (or Boscia), and I am not stinking. I can swipe my finger along my inner leg crease, and my finger just smells like citrus. I'll use this daily for rest of summer, then likely just a couple few times a week going into cool temps. Or maybe I will just use it daily. Little goes a long way, its effective, smells good. No issues. I have been using natural deodorants or no deodorant at all for the last 4 years and I can safely say I have tried like every natural deodorant that exists on the market so I feel extremely qualified to write this review. All of them either don’t work, smell awful, Or leave me with welts or rashes (Native being the worst offender). Previous to this, the only one I could use for any length of time was the Dove 0%, but it wears off quite quickly in the hot florida summer. To be fair, I am not a Very smelly person, nor am I a big sweater.I will tell you that there are some definite opportunities, however the pros far outweigh the cons.We will start with the cons:1- the initial smell is a little less tangerine and a little more earthy citrus. But it goes away very quickly, like as soon as it dries and your left with really no smell at all. So if you are looking for something With fragrance to mask scent, this is not it.2- it’s a little on the pricey side, but a little goes a long way, like you barely need any and for me it lasts at least 2 days even after a shower.Pros:1-I literally smell like NOTHING! no joke, I’m currently on day 3 and my armpit has no smell at all. We went to an outdoor fall festival and I sweat like crazy all afternoon in the 90 degree heat. I smell other places, my armpits smell like air. I even showered yesterday morning before we went and did not put any on after.2- even the scented versions seem to have little smell. I am extremely sensitive to scents. I am 7 months pregnant and everything with fragrance makes me want to puke. The initial scent is a little citrus earthy (I got the tangerine) but it goes away almost immediately and you are left with zero smell.3- you need very little. One click twist will do both armpits and lasts me 2-3 days.4- my skin is very sensitive. I get rashes and welts in my armpits almost immediately and from basically everything. I have had no reaction to this and I have been using it over a week now.

If you’re looking for a product to get rid of your natural body odor, look no further. This product will instantly get rid of whatever odor you were so worried about in the first place. The catch is that you’ll be walking around for at least the next 24 hours with an unfamiliar, gag-worthy pungency. This is surely a one of a kind natural smell that I’m fairly sure they could only obtain by scraping off the ooze from the pus-filled back of a ratchet lunatic who think they’ll melt if they go anywhere near a shower. The yellow/off-white cream that comes from this stick might actually contain the original STD-filled pus itself. Your silver lining is that the lunatic used an orange peel they found the garbage to rub themselves as a kind of freshener and now the seller gets to slap the word “tangerine” on the label.I wanted a natural, clean product to help with the odor that occurs from working out at the gym down the street on my lunch break. Supposedly safe to use on my privates too? Why not? My “why not” quickly turned in the “why”, as in “why the hell did I waste money on this?” I gave it the benefit of the doubt. I tried it for 4-5 days hoping that maybe, just maybe, the disgusting “aroma” that I just spread on my lady parts would fade (kinda like who the smell of a strong cleaner just dissipates, leaving you with a clean odorless surface). My lady “surface” retained the newfound odor and I find myself questioning if this product was truly that bad or maybe there’s a one-in-a-trillion chance that I forgotten to shower for the last 3 days. But like all stories, this one must come to an end and my sage with Lume ended up in the trash. Not worth fighting for my money back. I leave this review with my sincerest trauma aired out so that the next potential victim can save themselves some money and heartache.For those who claim to love the product and smell, I sincerely hope you get your olfactory systems checked out because that smell is not natural or clean or tangerine.

I got this to try this new brand out, and it works really well for me. I gave this one four stars because of the initial scent. The only problem I have is the smell Right after I put it on There is an after smell; to me, at least. I have to turn away from the smell in order to not feel nauseous. I think it is only with this scent that I have the biggest problem. I ordered more from the company and the lavender isn't as bad. Also, it only seems to affect me with the cream like deodorants. (I don't have the issue with the dry version of their deodorants) From this apparatus as well as the squeeze tube , There seems to just be a sweet sickly smell to me. I cannot really describe it. My nose just cannot take it first thing in the morning. I've never actually vomited or anything, it just isn't pleasant to me.But the deodorant works super well! I do not perspire or itch afterwards. I have extremely sensitive skin and Most of the major/popular branded deodorants had been causing me to have an allergic reaction, and Lume does not. I have been looking for A deodorant that works and doesn't cause me to break out or itch for far too long! I had been seeing their commercials all over the place, but looked at the price and was skeptical. But I am a believer now and definitely will be using this for years to come. I purchased a few things from the Black Friday sale as well. I'm happy with this product. It is definitely great to have something that doesn't have a lot of extra chemicals in it that will cause us to break out and have other issues. The peony smelling soap is the best! That was my favorite from my order from their site. I ordered more of that and the lavender and unscented deodorant from them as well.

First off, this product did work for a time. The scent wasn't too strong (I'm sensitive to scents in products) and most of all it did take care of the armpit oder! I was thrilled to not have an antiperspirant deoderant, until my armpits started to itch.At first, it was minimal so I tried just putting it on every 2-3 days to see if that would help. I even stopped shaving in case that was razor burn. Again it was taking care of the oder so I wanted to keep giving it a fair try and that did work for about a week then the itching and discomfort got worse. I was itching at my armpits throughout the day where it was becoming disruptive and very uncomfortable. When I started waking up in the night itching my armpits and they were hurting, I had to finally stop using Lume deoderant or any other deoderant. I switched to just using a skin healing lotion only for the last month, which doesn't keep the BO away unfortunately, but my skin is finally feeling better.I was so disappointed, so I started researching how Lume works to keep the BO away and found the culprit: it uses an alph hydroxy acid (AHA) and I am allergic to them! It took a while to find the information online on Lume's website. I used an acne topical medication in my late teens to help with the acne breakouts and I had the same type of reaction: it worked for a week then I got itchy and uncomfortable and had to take benadryl to knock me out and get the reaction to slow down. I missed 3 days of college classes, it's cemented in my brain as a core memory.I wish I had found this out earlier since I ordered 2 of them on Amazon, but the return timetable closed. Disappointed but going to talk to my doctor today about what to do.

I've tried the Unscented and Clean Tangerine. Both work great! I usually have very sensitive skin but have not had any trouble with this deodorant! Unlike another reviewer, my invisible cream stick wasn't runny; the opposite really. My sister told me to either wet my pits or the stick and it'll glide on easier. She's right; that works great.The Unscented isn't quite unscented. It's pretty mild but maybe slightly herb-y or smells like soap? I've noticed a little variation but not a problem or intense. Now, when it mixes with sweat, it does turn to a different smell that I know it's about to wear off. The Clean Tangerine smells so fresh and clean. I love it! When it mixes with my sweat, it's still OK which is nice. I think it's about finding the scent that mixes well with your own sweat.This deodorant truly lasts 72hrs! I'm so impressed! Only might need to reapply again if heavily workout-sweating, maybe. Will test it out this summer in more hot temperatures.Only drawback is when I get dressed right after applying it, sometimes white marks get on my shirt. Not exactly invisible but I'll put up with that given how well it works and smells! Thanks, Lume! Happy it's available on Amazon too!

I have used lots and lots of different deodorants in my lifetime. I have always been super paranoid about my armpits smelling, so this is a VERY important item in my daily routine. For the last four years, I have been using Native (love the coconut vanilla!), and it has worked like a dream. But lately, due to menopause and my crazy hormones, it stopped working. I was horrified and desperate to find a solution. I went back to plain old Secret, tried the dry spray, Clinical strength, and even men’s. Nothing worked. My daughter told me about Lume, but when I saw the price, I said no way! However, in my desperation I decided to give it a try. Boy was I amazed! This is the best money I ever spent! I got the tangerine, just because that’s the one she recommended. It really doesn’t smell like tangerine, in fact it smells pretty awful when you first put it on, but the scent disappears within minutes and it goes to work! It has not failed me through night sweats, hot flashes, and even out doing yardwork today when it was 90° out! I am a customer for life and can’t wait to try some of the other products! If you are on the fence about buying this, do it! You will not be sorry!

I was very excited about the "clean orange" scent because I love the smell of oranges, but it doesn't smell like oranges at all! Even worse for me, it has a very overpowering weird scent which I don't like at all. I'm glad it doesn't have aluminum and lasts a few days, but it's not worth smelling like that when the point is to stop smelling bad. I hoped to get used to the weird smell, but never did and waited too long to request a return. I was still so bothered by the smell that I used my regular deodorant more than half of the time until I just decided to stop torturing myself and stop using it. I got it out a while later thinking maybe I'd try it again and found the "stick" version had dried up and crusted over the holes it's supposed to come out of so I just threw it away. At this price, that's a big waste! I will say I am very sensitive to smells and hold my nose to go through the perfume areas in a mall because the smells make me sick. I was going to try the "unscented" version of Lume, but then I read the reviews. Some reviews say it has no smell while others say it still has that basic stinky smell. I'm not interested in wasting my time or money again, so I never tried the "unscented" version. I was so excited about these products, but I guess they just won't work for me. Very disappointed.I love the smell of Old Spice Wolfthorn. It's got the orange citrus smell I've been looking for, comes in an aluminum free option, and comes in a gel stick or solid. The only thing is that it's hard to find in stores as a solid which I prefer because I think gels feel sticky and always burn my pits after I shave. Good thing I can buy the solid, aluminum-free Wolfthorn from AMAZON! I have to buy 6 at a time, but it's a good price. I don't mind putting it on every day so I can actually smell good!
