Does the back (non printable side) of the paper have some logo or watermark or is it plain white?

No Logos or Watermarks...this is the paper from Germany...not Japan....but I have heard the 400 pack of 4x6 is from Japan...not sure thou....The paper is still good for you mom and pop operations but definitely not premium paper for the pro's... There platinum pro paper is very good....so Good Luck

No, it doesn't work for laser printer if you planning to print photo.

does the 400 count sheet set come in one single package or split up?

I received 4 separate packages of 100 sheets each. Each package was further divided into 2 plastic wrapped sections of 50 sheets each.
