Good idea, but didn't work for what I needed.

Easy to apply- stays on dash!!! I use it with my tomtom and it's never become loose or fallen off.

Nothing special here, just a good mounting surface.

I know, I read other reviews where the customer said it would not stick. I found the same problem. The double sided tape is very thin and it would likely stick to a smooth surface, probably a place where the suction cup would stick without the disk anyway. I tried it on my dash (2013 Toyota Sienna) and it didn't work......shame on me for discounting other peoples complaints.

This works great for me. The disk that came with my phone mount never would stick in the hot Florida sun. It sometimes would unpeel, and the whole mount and phone would come crashing down when I'd come home from work after my car sat in the sun all day. I put this one on, and it has held fast, no matter how hot it gets outside and in my car. I did notice that the double sided tape is 3M, so maybe that's a better quality product than what was on my original disk...

I installed this in a 2014 Ford Transit above the radio screen. I didn't use the included cleaning wipe because I read it damaged some people's dash finish, so I just cleaned the area with the sleeve of my sweatshirt. The surface is slightly convex, but so far there are no issues with it coming un-stuck. I have a Garmin Nuvi 52 LM and it mounts perfect

Bought this for my husband's car and after taking it out of the package and trying to mount it on the dash board, we decided it's garbage. Does not stick..at all.

I can't write MUCH of a review on this, as it's simply a plastic disk that sticks to my dash so I can mount my GPS device. But I can say that it does what it's supposed to do. Works exactly the same as the original that came with my device.
