ENDUR-ACIN® Extended Release Niacin 250mg, Nicotinic Acid, 100 Tablets

Hooray! With these, I can finally tolerate Niacin! Low-dose, so I could start small and build, as needed and tolerated. I've always flushed with Niacin. Even the other so-called "slow" types of Niacin made me flush. I had given up on Niacin, until a dear friend told me about these and explained why they were different from the rest. With these, I could start with just one 250 mg, and am now up to 750 mg per day (mild flushing only one day, but that was my fault...) Here's what I did: I started with one at night, had no problems, and just 2 days later, I tried increasing to two at night and experienced mild flushing the next day, so I dropped back to just one at night. After two weeks, I added the second one at night. No Flushing! Two weeks later, I added one in the morning, and have still had no more flushing! I am thrilled! Thank you Enduracin!

Good product

I'm having to work my way up to taking these. I took these for 2 days in a row and never experienced flushing, but I got a headache about 45 minutes after taking them that felt like someone hit me with a hammer. Since then I broke them in half. Keep in mind they aren't scored so they weren't made to break in half. But doing that has helped with the headache. I'm going to keep breaking them in half for a while then try to take them whole again. I just wanted to throw that out there to warn everyone you might get a headache.

Brought my Lpa down by 100 points. Big thumbs up from me.

For cholest reduction. (Took 6,1500mg), severe flushing,itchy rash. Their (1) 750mg didnt cause problems (for me). (1) 1500mg other brand had moderate side effects for me.

I started taking this about a week ago and have felt more energy than I had previously.

This product is amazing. My triglycerides were high, even though I am in good physical shape and very active. My family history though has high triglycerides. My doctor was concerned, but I already had a good diet and was active, so after reading online that niacin was the treatment of choice 20-30 years ago, rather than medication, I tried these for a few months. My tryglycrides went, in one year from 201 to 118,and cholesterol from 240 to 203. And no meds, thank you!!
