This product may seem frivolous but as someone who eats A LOT of hard boiled eggs, I find it very useful. I usually peel my eggs on a cutting board and chopping there’s can get very messy with the yolk or having shell get mixed in. Using a paper towel is a bit wasteful. And precutting all my eggs isn’t great for travel. I can bring one tool and rinse it or wash it with ease. The one slight issue is that the strings don’t go as far down into the base as they need to so the last bit of eggs needs to be held or poked down. I also think this would be good for parents of toddlers who need lots of small foods cut as I work with kids

I purchased 9 months ago and thought it had broken shortly after that. It looked like the photos showing a loose wire. I found it's all one wire and after pressing a little on each separate wire section, they all looked even and tight enough to fit through the slots and cut. It worked like new.

Nice, however wires easy become misshapen within a couple weeks of regular use.

This little egg slicer does a great job on eggs and strawberries. Not only does it make my egg salad prep very easy, but I was delighted I that it sliced my strawberries so well. I was making a charcuterie board and it occurred to me to try it out on some perfectly ripe strawberries. The strawberry slices were just as uniform as my egg slices (though I didn't put egg on the charcuterie board). This is a great little kitchen tool that is easy to use and the price is right. I use a bristle brush for cleaning which makes cleanup a breeze. I don't think I will put it in the dishwasher so as to maintain the sharpness of the wire cutters. Now I am wondering what other small foods it might work on!

This egg slicer is a piece of junk. The wires don't even go below the bottom of the curved cradle. I had to pull my egg out to get the wires all the way through it. Then, while still trying to use it for the first time, one of the wires bent sideways just enough that it wouldn't even open. I had to move the wire over to open it for every slice after that. Not worth my time to return. It's now a piece of garbage.
