Works Great
Wasn't sure what was wrong so I decided to try a new battery. This was one of the least expensive batteries. Simple to replace. Push one button to release old battery and insert new one. Vacuum worked again first try. Haven't used the vacuum enough yet so longevity not decided. Fit perfectly in my Dyson DC 44 Animal. Battery model 17083-03.

Actually fit the model said to fit & worked well!
I’ve been having trouble with my Dyson stick vacuum for a very long time. I ordered a battery that was supposed to fit but it did not. I got frustrated and just put it to the side. I decided to try again. This one worked perfectly and my vacuum is working perfectly again!!!

Junk battery. Stopped holding charge after less than 5 months of use.
Battery stopped holding a meaningful charge after less than 5 months of use, only using the vacuum every 2-3 days for 3-7 minutes. Battery is dying in less than 1 minute.

My battery is still good
Thought the battery went bad, but it seems okay now. Still working after a year. It seemed to have gone bad after ten months (would not charge) but before taking it to recycling, I tried once more and it’s working again.

Finally found one that worked for my Dyso
I tried all of the cheaper batteries for my specific stick vac and none of them worked. They all fit perfect and looked perfect but WOULD NOT POWER UP in my vac. This one satified my needs and works great. I will charge it up fully & give it a good test drive for capacity and run time.

Works on my old dyson 31 white handheld
Works as advertised. Revived my dying dcs31 white handheld with B tyoe battery. This has a screw in the stem which is behind the pull out washable filter. The other is above the charge port. This hole is a lottle small but you can keep screwing it and it will go in. This battery is gray but i dont mind the color mismatch. Haven't timed it but now i can vacuum small jobs over days and dont need to charge after each use. Good battery.
