Price and Fit
The clutch mounted perfectly as if it were OEM, during the inspection, I compared the clutch springs, the after market springs are subpar to the OEM Clutch Springs. Time will tell, anyhow it fit my MS271 Farm-boss perfect. 1/3 the price of an OEM Clutch. For you DIY, find an old electric chord, cut the end off, remove the plug, stick the chord in the Spark Plug Hole. Turn the clutch until it won’t turn anymore, remember right is Not tight on the clutch, it is reverse threaded.

Inferior material for the clutch.
Ordered this item to fix my clutch and sprocket issue on my Stihl MS271 chainsaw. While installing the clutch I was tightening it down and multiple spots on the clutch failed at the same time. The sprocket and roller and clip were able to be used but the clutch was absolutely destroyed. Pay the extra money and get OEM parts from Stihl. Whatever material the clutch is made of is absolute garbage. I hope someone sees this review and reaches out to me about it.
