The palette impressed me with its size and having a plastic one before I knew it would be easy to clean. I found I could get a load of oils on and have room for mixing too. But i have to mention the time it took to get the coverings off. It is a very thin brown stuff that seems like it is glued to the clear surface. It was extremely difficult to get it off. There was advice with it that said try a sharp object like a knife. Not good advice as the knife slipped and cut my finger! But It took nearly 20 minutes to get the stuff off in loads of curled up bits. So I ended up doing one side only.

Nice big clear acrylic palette ruined because of ridiculous protective film, which is just a gimmick in my opinion, as it comes in a clear plastic bag. I've scored my hand, as well as the new palette, trying to get this stupid stuff off! THANKS FOR MAKING SOMETHING EASY SO DIFFICULT AND NOW 2 SCORE MARKS INTO THE NEW PALETTE, TOTAL GENIUS! ANY CHANCE OF A LIP SO IT COULD BE PEELED OFF PROPERLY AND SAFELY? AVOID! WHEN THIS ONE BREAKS WHICH IS NOW INEVITABLE BECAUSE OF THE MARKS, I'M MORE THAN SURE I WON'T BE USING THIS COMPANY AGAIN, AVOID!

This is my second Willbond pallete, unfortunately the first met an unfortunate end due to some vigorous time constrained cleaning.I love the size, there is plenty of room for colours and mixing and they are reasonably comfortable to hold for 3 or so hours at a time, any longer than that and they do dig in a bit. They do scratch easily when mixing with a pallete knife but that's to be expected, they will flex a fair bit if you're a bit rough with your mixing which is good. They clean easily with kitchen towel and brush cleaner and I haven't stained one yet. When you clean them make sure they are on a flat surface, don't clean when holding it, if you do don't get rough with it or it will snap.All in all great bit of kit and well priced, 5⭐

As they advertised, it has decent thickness to it. I peeled off the brown protective paper just on one side, which helps me see the value of colours when I am mixing paint. If you use a palette knife to mix paints it leaves scratches, thats my only gripe, other than that it's good size for an adult and good quality.

My painting experience has been improved and made so much easier with the space on the pallette, I don't know how I got along for so long without one. The one thing I would say is peeling the brown protective paper was a little trickier than expected and took more time but that doesn't affect the use of the product.

Lightweight and cleans easily, removable thumb hole padding would greatly improve this item.

Started using this product for oil paintings. Nice, sturdy form of good enough quality for anyone needing a mixing plate.very good value for money.
