After a week we’re very satisfied. We own a Barcalounger recliner from Costco with leather surfaces on seating areas and armrests and material elsewhere. Based on our previous experience with a La-Z-Boy recliner from Sears that had a composite leather covering which ultimately flaked and deteriorated on wear surfaces, we wanted a cover to protect from perspiration, skin oil, pressure points, etc., and after a brief internet search chose this cover partly based on the reviews. This cover fits and feels very comfortable, it’s amply thick, and we’re happy with the color. The only thing I would improve on is the elastic strap and buckles. The strap itself needs to be a couple inches longer while the buckles may require some sort of padding between them and the chair. Other than that, we’re good. There was plenty of material overlapping the top so that it could be tucked under the elastic, thus preventing it from wanting to flop forward upon getting up from the chair. We haven’t washed ours yet so don’t know how that will affect the feel or clinginess. Will check back to report on that when it happens. As a side note, while the pad itself doesn’t slip it will sort of incrementally creep in various directions upon use which will require a minor straightening of the material from time to time. No biggie, no deal breaker. In our opinion it’s well worth the price we paid. Recommended.

My mother, being incontinent of bladder & sometimes bowel, had occasional accidents in her recliner. After 4+ years of accidents, the long-term care facility where she lives had to remove & subsequently destroy her recliner. After having purchased a new recliner for her, I knew that I had to try to find some means of protecting it so I began my search on amazon of course. I looked at every protective "waterproof" recliner cover being offered and finally decided on this one for 3 reasons, none of which were price. The most important reason for purchase was that it was waterproof. In the ad it shows the very dry back side of the cover 30 minutes after water is poured on and left in a puddle so purchasing this one was a no-brainer since aother one I looked at advised changing their cover out within 5 minutes to keep the wetness from penetrating. Another reason is in regard to the cover staying on the chair. The silicone paw prints on the back prevent the cover from slipping and sliding around on the chair as does the 2 inch wide adjustable elastic belt which stretches across the back of the chair and secures it in place to prevent the cover from coming off of the chair. The final reason for purchase was ease of care. This cover can be machine washed in cool water and tumble dried in low heat. A final plus, which wasn't a chief criteria for purchase but is a nice plus is that it's very soft to the touch. My mom loves her new chair with these covers. I actually purchased 3 of them in different colors so that there would always be a clean one available when needed. They're easy to put on. The seat of my mom's chair is 23 inches so I ordered the "oversize recliner" cover and it fits great, just tuck any excess in along the sides of the seat. I turned them over and marked the seat, back, footrest, & both arms with a permanent marker to make things a bit easier for the staff at the home. The Director of Nursing Services at the facility where Mom resides said, "Those are the best covers I've ever seen" and wanted to know where I got them. How could anyone ask for a better recommendation than that?

This is a nice cover. It is well made and the fabric is soft. I think it's a good value for sure. That being said, there are definitely some improvements that can be made to the design. First, the little "sticky" paws on the back that are designed to grab on to leather or vinyl surfaces need to be bigger or thicker to provide better grab. The back strap slides down off of the fabric that hangs over the back of the chair so that is pretty inconvenient. We bought the oversized because our chair is oversized but it seems large in places and yet the smaller size will be too small so I will need to modify it. The elastic that goes around the footrest is really loose so that will have to be taken in . The arms are super long so just know that they will hang down pat any side pockets or usb port that you may have on your chair. It IS waterproof.

It looks good, and fits. But it does not stat in place at all. The back strap slips down to the lowcountry end of the back no matter what I do. And when it does, nothing else stays in place. The metal that each side of the strap connects to doesn't keep the strap centered, but pulls the strap into one pile at the end. That leaves more ofv sharp metal end poking into the material which is vegan leather. That vis in pix 1. I tried to paper tape the pokey metal parts so it wouldn't poke a hole. Pux 2 shows that it does look nice when the back strap stays in place. The last pix shows the way the strap ends up after no time at all. I sit once and it comes down. And you can see how it starts to pile up in the seat when that happens. Then everything starts kind ofv falling away. The arms flip sideways. So far nothing I have done has helped. However, it is washable, so I will be getting another hopefully better one soon and keeping this as a backup. Wasn't that costly. I was so hopeful when I got it and it looked,felt, fit great. Sigh. I get tired of putting it back in place.

Just got this to replace one I bought in 2019. The other one’s still in good shape and being used on another chair. Wanted a different color to better match my recliner. This new one has added feature of straps to keep it in place. The strap across the back is too low in my opinion and the back keeps falling down when I get up out of the chair. My wife is a seamstress and she moved it higher up on the chair which has helped. I like the strap that goes across the foot rest. Keeps that in place really well. I like the color and the protection. It’s kept my recliner looking new.

I spent $500 for a leather Euro recliner. The chair wasn't used often and was just for company. After several years the leather started to peel off in flakes. The chair worked great but shedded flakes were unslightly. I later discovered it was bonded leather which is scraps of real leather that is basically shredded into fine peices, mixed with resin, then sprayed on fabric. There are products that can temporarily make the chair presentable. After searching for a replacement chair and ways to repair it, I opted to search for a chair cover and finally found this! This furniture cover is a wonderful! It has a nonslip backing so it doesn't sag after reclining. It covers most of the damaged "leather". It looks great in our living room. I am well pleased with this product. I will be ordering a second one for 2nd Euro recliner that is in our camper. The cover is very inexpensive and nicely made. It has saved me money by not having to replace 2 chairs and extended the life of the current chairs. I definitely recommend these covers. Since I just recieved it, I haven't washed it or spilled anything on it to see how water proofed it is. We don't have pets so it maybe awhile before I wash it. I will update my review if there are any future problems with this cover.

We love this! Bought this for my mother's chair and it seems to be working out great. The only complaint I have is the arms they don't seem to be long enough in our constantly getting rolled over into the chair. I love how it's got a clamp to hold it in place around the back. We've had no issues with that. easily washable and easy to wipe down. We've had a couple of spills already on the cover and it hasn't gotten through to the actual chair! Also I love that we could cover up the color of her chair. I think this is just a great addition and my mother doesn't seem to think it's uncomfortable.

It did not fit properly on my recliner. It covered the cupholders. It appears to be a good quality product. I purchased it because the photo states that this product is often purchased with the recliner that I purchased, but it covered the cupholders the photo is deceiving.

La funda es perfecta solo que el resorte a veces se suelta y te puede pegar en la cara yo se lo elimine
