I was most upset when my previous clock radio went the way of all things, but this beauty is a more than worthy repacement. It is very attractive, being made of wood, and the adjustable illumination is easy to alter depending on the light/darkness in the room. The alarm functions are a doddle to set and there is a good choice of alarm sounds. The radio does not work (but we are in a bit of an FM blackspot) however it is so much nicer waking not to the news but to alarm sound #7, which is a tropical rainforest of bird calls. Lovely.

I have had a number of alarm clock radios - all have failed in some significant way (like the one I had that selected the days it wanted to go off, you never knew if it was going to wake you or not! Lol). But this one is brilliant!Positives1. Brightness. I have the brightness set to minimum. This means that in the day time you can barely make out the numbers but at night it is of a level that is easy to read without keeping you awake.2. Colour. The colour of the light is a warm mellow yellow which is so much more relaxing than some I have had with their ‘keep you awake’ blue or green displays.3. Controls. I am someone who hates complex control interfaces. This one is simplicity itself. The huge snooze button on top is easy to ht if snoozing is needed and the rest of the time it is also the change of brightness button. So in day time if you want to read the time, just press it a coupe of times to go from max dim, to off, to max bright. Simples. Likewise if you want to listen to the radio during the day, the appropriate button is clearly marked.4. Charging. The induction charging for the phone is again simplicity itself. Just lay the phone on top. There is a ridge at the front edge to make accurate positioning of the phone a doddle.5. Wood. The wood effect of the alarm is very good and the whole device is unobtrusive, dare I say, even elegant sitting there on the bedside table.Negatives.1. Sound quality. I have had better sounding radios but, and I stress this, I have had significantly worse sounding ones too. Overall the sound is reasonably crisp with reasonable high and low notes. Whilst it might not win any awards against your hifi, it is perfectly acceptable as a radio alarm.2. The ease of use of the controls also means that it is easy to hit one by mistake. Most frequently, the brightness (snooze) button whilst going for your phone that is busy charging on top. This is being very picky though and is not enough of an issue to move the product from a five star rating.Overall I rate this alarm/radio very highly, by far and away the best I have ever had.

Took a while to set alarm with the radio and a bit odd that if you do not turn the radio off within 9 minutes, it then cannot be turned off for 1 hour! It is easy to read the numerals and charges the phone quickly. I am pleased with it so far.

Delivery as scheduled. Item exactly as shown. The dimmer has 5 settings and these range from really bright to off. I love it. Great at night. The radio is a bit tinny, but doesn’t cause any issues. Phone charger works effortlessly even with phone in a case. Easy to operate. Price good too. Delighted with my purchase.

I bought this to replace my old LED alarm clock. Although I dont use the alarm and radio functions much they work OK. The radio aerial can be a little difficult to get just right but that is down the location I have the device.I like the large dimmable display, as without glasses I often could not read my old clock and I can set to a dimmer setting at night so it's not disturbing my sleep.Best of all I like the wireless charger. It's an ideal place to charge my phone while I sleep.For the cost It is a good quility unit and looks good in almost any setting.DAB and Bluetooth functions would be good. However I suspect that to include those the price might be prohibitive.All in all I very happe with this item.

One is always suspicious of multiple glowing reviews, but this is genuinely good. Looks and feels expensive, completely intuitive to use, the cordless charging works fine and the multi level brightness is excellent (though you have to adjust it yourself - it doesn't self-adjust in response to ambient light levels).The radio is pretty reasonable. FM only but digitally tuned in 0.1 MHz increments. It has one of the modern design speakers which gives good bass for it's size The antenna is a quarter wave (about 75cm) wire so you can tuck it away.

What a lovely idea, project the time on a wooden frontage. Goes so well in my room of just 2 cherry pine bedside cabinets, matching cherry pine chest of drawers, cherry pine bed frame and a light pine chair. But why not 5 star ? Because they didn’t think how you use a dimmer. As you go to bed, you dim the clock down to suit. Then when you wake up in the morning, you need to brighten the clock. BUT. Press the clock light button, and it goes darker/dimmer. So in the morning when pressing the clock light button, it goes dimmer, not lighter as you need. If only they changed this round, they would have a 6 star clock on their hands. Hence only 3 stars. If you like when half asleep, pressing buttons multiple times to make brighter, then this is the clock for you. If you just want 1 or 2 presses to make it bright enough, don’t buy.

I can’t really fault this to be honest. I’ve used the radio feature a few times, but I bought this more for it’s wireless charging feature (which works perfectly) and its loud alarm. Only issue with the radio feature is that the antenna is basically a metre length of wire - which is fine if you’re planning on putting it against a wall or somewhere where you don’t need to access anything behind the clock, but less so if you do. You’d probably need to tape the wire to a wall and obviously it’ll get in the way if you’ve got to have it trailing around. However, I’ve got the wire coiled up neatly and tucked behind and the radio still works and sounds fine.I’d definitely recommend if you’re looking for a nice looking digital alarm clock - if you’re planning on using the radio function, make sure you find somewhere to put it first, where you can attach the wire properly.
