To answer your question, this kit 76631 is designed with a higher spring tension for the weight of 4wd. You can use the 76630 kit and accomplish the same lift with the correct spring tension for 2wd. If you were to use the 76631 kit your 4runner would have a horrible ride and handle terribly. Would strongly advise using the 76630 kit. It is a 3inch lift for 2wd. I hope this helps.
