SAMSUNG 2020 Large Size Bracket Wall Mount (76"-98") - WMN8000SXT/ZA

Just bought a new large screen television (82") and this mount worked reasonably well. The mount should have more holes available to use for mounting into studs but it was easy enough to make some holes of my own. At 24 pounds or so, it was relatively easy to install correctly with help from my amazing older brother. It did take a while to get it just right but now that it is up, I have no reservations stating that it is a great addition to my home. All of the additional parts included made it easy to choose the correct mounting parts. The only thing I would have had added was mounting bolts for use in wooden studs as opposed to the bolts for cement, tile or marble, etc. Definitely worth the investment !

Install instructions were unclear and there were a ton of extra parts. However, it’s sturdy and does the job well. Hubby had to have a friend who does this for a living help him install. Probably hard to do on your own without some prior experience.

I bought this TV Mount because it was made by Samsung and I assumed it would be the best mount for my 65" Samsung TV. The only good part of this mount was the installation. It was super easy to assemble and install. However it ends there. It was very difficult to align the knobs that came in the box for the back of the TV. It was VERY Frustrating when holding such a larger TV to get all 4 tiny knobs into each of the 4 tiny slots on the mount. When we finally placed the TV on the mount we found that the mount would not tilt forward as advertised. I had the same experience as some of the other reviewers where the mount forces the TV to tilt up. The same negative comments were on the Samsung website as well. I wish I read all the reviews first. At this price there should not be issues like this. There are many at the 1/3 of this price with a much easier mount system On top of that Samsung customer service is horrible. I tried to get direction on fixing the tilt problem and possibly adjust the mount to make it tilt. After spending 20 mins with the automated system not understanding the issue, I spent another 10 mins with a real person reading me the features of the mount and how it tilts. I explained that I was contacting them because the product does not tilt back and forth as advertised and I need to know how to fix it. I was then placed on hold with a person coming back asking me if the mount was professionally installed? GRRR!! I suggest buying the generic $50 hook and rail mounting system. The complete installation and hanging the TV was super easy and tilts perfectly. The downside is it is not as easy to get to the back of the TV.

This is a Great Wall mount even for my 75” Samsung QLED 90T over 100 lbs TV. I only gave it 4/5 rating because it did not come with drywall anchors and the instructions let you fend for yourself if you don’t have cement walls.Also the instructions are poorly written and it does not come with a template to drill holes in the wall so you need to use the bracket itself. The biggest complaint I have however is that it only comes with cement screws for a cement wall which is stupid when many people have drywall. The very poor instructions do not even guide you to what type of drywall anchors might be able to hold this into drywall for a large 100+ LB TV set. Further Samsung phone helpline and text chat people were absolutely clueless and could not help at all. I was so close to retuning it then look up YouTube comparison videos for the strongest drywall anchors and found TOGGLERS so used them with 2 lag bolts on one side in studs and 4 TOGGLER. drywall anchors. It is working very well. Solid heavy duty bracket should get 5/5 but too bad they cannot do a better Job with the rest of it. Very frustrating to figure out on your own.
